Chapter 1
Ansh ,Palak and Payal has grown up now. Ansh and Palak are now 20 years.
It was a normal day at SM. Aarthi brought tea to Yash as usual. While taking the tea from her hand Yash noticed that Aarthi is lost in thoughts.
"Aarthiji! "She didn't hear.
So Yash kept the cup of tea on the table and went and touched her. The touch of him brought her back to the world.
"Aarthiji! I know something is troubling you. What's it?"
"Yashji did you notice Ansh. He is so different these days. He is so happy and he is lost in his own world. And he is talking to someone over the phone for long hours. Wonder what is it?"
"Yes Aarthiji. I also noticed it. I wanted to talk it with you. I waited till he goes to college. I think Aarthiji he has fallen in love."
"What? Our small Ansh has fallen in love?"
"Aarthiji now he is not small. He is already 20 years. And he is in law college not in school. Our children have grownup."
"OH! Yashji the time has gone so fast and our kida have grown up.Which I didn't feel"
"Yes Aarthiji! Now we are getting old. But I'm happy about our children. All are good and respect elders and most of all they are doing their studies well. Ansh in law college. Palak in medical college and Payal has started her management degree recently."
"YEs Yashji! I'm also happy about them and I know Ayu also will do his studies well someday. But now I'm worried about Ansh I just hope he found a good girl for him not a girl who make his down fall."
"No Aarthiji I trust Ansh so much and I know he will not do any bad things.But we have to find out. If the girl is not good we have to make him understand. But before that we have to find whether he is in love. i think if we go to his room and search we might get a clue of it."
So Aarya went to Ansh's room and they searched his books and found out a card. It was written by a girl to Ansh expressing her love.
This brought a smile on Aarya's face.
"We were right! He's in love Yashji"
"Yes, Aarthiji Now we have to discuss with Ansh and we have to find out about that girl. After that we'll think what we'll do."
So they waited till the night.
At night in Ansh's room
"Ansh we want to talk with you."Said Yash as he and Aarthi entered the room.
"Yes, mama and papa. Is anything wrong? why both of you are here?"
Yash looked at Aarthi and nodded.
"I have a complain for you?"
"What is it papa? What did I do?"
"You are not thinking me as your friend now a days."
"Why are you saying that papa? You are my best friend and my best papa as always."
"Then it means you didn't trust me."
"I always trust you papa. You gave me a life and you were always there for me. Why don't I trust you?"
"Then why did you hide it from me?"
"What papa?"
Yash showed the card to him.
He blushed and looked down.
"Ansh why did you hide this from me and papa? Didn't you trust us."
"I trust and love you both mama papa. But I was scared to tell you about her."
He said in a soft voice.
"Ok are you still scared? don't worry beta we won't scold you. Tell us about her. please." Said Aarthi.
"Ok mama papa. She's so nice simple and kind hearted just like mama. She's doing an art degree. I met her first at the temple and later on my way to college I met her. I always wanted someone like my mama to marry. I found those qualities in her. She loves others and respect elders. She's so beautiful and has a long nice hair like mama.I don't know when I started to love her. But I know I love her. After she came into my life I feel some nice feeling has overshadowed me.Sorry for hiding it from you'll"
"Good, I'm so happy about you beta. Nice to hear you found a good girl. But please trust us from now on and fill us with everything." Said Yash.
"Beta your papa and I like to meet the girl. We know that you both are doing your studies still. No need to marry soon. Finish your studies first. But we need to meet your girl who soon would be our daughter as well. Shall we go to her house one day? We should talk to her parents."
"Yes I agree with your mama."
"Mama, papa I'm sorry she doesn't have a house. She's staying in a hostel."
"What do you mean by that?"Asked Yash worryingly.
"Papa, She's an orphan. That is one of the reason I didn't tell you. I was afraid that someone from the house may not agree for this and I cannot think a life without her."
"No beta, You are wrong. Our family members welcomed your mama knowing that she is an orphan" He said touching Ansh's shoulders.
"We don't mind those things. We only need cultured and well mannered girl who can keep you happy in all your life."
"Thank you papa"Ansh hugged him so tightly.
"Thank you papa. I was correct all the time you are the best papa"
"And I also always right. You are my beta. And I'm always proud of you"
Seeing this Aarthi's eyes filled with tears.
She wiped her tears andsaid.
"So beta papa and beta forgot this mama."
So all three got into a hug.
Payal and Palak who were passing Ansh's room saw these three and joined their hug. It was a happy time for all of them.
In Aarya's room.
"I'm happy Yashji about Ansh. He found an orphan like me."
"yes me too after all he's my beta na."
Then heturned to see Aarthi lost in thoughts again. He hugged her from back.
"Now what's bothering my wife? Are scared to get old.?"
Aarthi suddenly wiped her teas but not soon enough to hide it from Yash.
"Why Aarthi What happened?"
"I'm scared Yashji! History is repeating. I was an orphan and I loved Prashanth and Prashanth got the permission from his parents the same way . I was happy but it didn't last long. You know what happened?"
And she hugged Yash.
"The flash back disturbed her.
"Aarthiji you are worrying unnecessarily. Ansh is not like Prashanth. He growned up with us. We taught him good manners. And he's popular for good behavior. He respect others more than any of us. Don't worry about him He will take a good care of his wife that you will think that he erased the memory of Prashanth from you completely. Remember he is my beta and he will remain like me making parents proud."
Then he winked and Aarthi and hugged her.
Aarthi was assured by his words and she hugged him back.
"Do you know Aarthi I like to meet my bahu. According to Ansh he is like you. So I'm waiting till tomorrow to meet her."
