KR OS: Relationship

Hey guys I'm back with an OS challenged by kitty. Sorry for the delay. Phew! it's quite long one. And yeah "Happy friendship day everyone " Enjoy.

It was just a normal day with nothing special in it. The gang was chilling out at the canteen. Rey and Taani were no longer a couple because they realized that they weren't meant to be. But they were really good friends and shared almost everything thing with the other.

That day everyone felt as if the boredom was ruling the college. There was nothing to do apart from sitting in canteen and while away your time. Suddenly the peon came and informed the gang that the VP had called them in his cabin urgently. Wondering what the reason could be, the gang proceeded towards VP's cabin.

"Sir, you called us?" Swayam asked after they exchanged formal greetings.

"Yes. I actually want you guys to meet someone" The VP replied.

"Who is it sir?" Rey asked.

"Well, it's none other than Kriya Ghai."

As soon as the vice principal uttered hr name, the gang was flabbergasted. Never in these two years they expected someone to talk about her and here the VP was asking them to meet her...like meet her for real.

"Guys, where are you people lost in?? Your old mate is waiting for you to notice her."

It was then the gang saw kriya standing the door; a little nervous. She was still the same. Nothing had changed. The only thing that was different was the equation between them. There were a lot of questions that needed their answers and the one who has the answers has finally appeared in front of them.

Rey had some mixed emotions playing on his face. A mixture of happiness, agony, hurt was clearly evident on his face. Taani squeezed Rey's hand to make him feel better. Kriya, who observed this felt hurt. Even she was going through the same phase like rey. She was elated to see her dil and dosti back. But also a little nervous that how would she face 'em?

"Focus Kriya, you're here for some other work. When you finish your work you have to leave them again. It's better if you avoid them." Kriya mentally reminded herself.

"So Kriya welcome back to St.Louis."

"Thank you sir"

"You all may leave now."

As soon as all of them exited the VP's cabin, Kriya hurriedly proceeded to leave. But before she could make a move Swayam caught her.

"Where did you disappear all of a sudden?" Swayam asked.

"As if you guys care" Was the reply came from her.

"How rude gal!" Sharon said.

"Neha not believing kriya become so rude." Neha said.

Kriya controlled her emotions and said "rude? Like seriously Neha!! It doesn't suits you guys. If I'm rude you guys are no less"

Kriya purposely spat out the venom because she knew it'd be difficult for her to part away from them again once she completes the work she came here for.

"Rey you were wrong. This girl is not worthy of your love. You did the biggest mistake by breaking up with taani only because of this heartless girl." Sharon said.

Kriya's eyes immediately turned towards rey on hearing sharon's words. She felt extremely gleeful. Their eyes locked. Read could clearly read the visible lines of love in her eyes. Unable to control her emotions any longer, kriya rushed away from there.

As expected Rey found kriya in the fire exit. She sat there leaning against the wall, lost in her deep thoughts. On sensing someone sitting adjacent to her, she revived back from her thoughts. She was startled to see rey there. But then maintaining attitude, she got up to leave.

But before she could leave, rey pulled her back.

"Leave my hand rey."

"Still the same" Rey replied.

"Huh??"

"You're still the same. Even now you don't forger to argue with me."

"When did I argue?"

"You're doing it now."

"You are mad. Anyways I'm leaving."

"You can leave only if you answer my question."

"I don't owe an answer to you."

"Why did you say all those words that day?"

"Oh you mean the prevalentines day. Aww you poor baby. That was the truth I said."

"Oh I see. If that was truth then why don't your eyes agree to it? Why do they convey a different story?"

"What nonsense. I don't think I need to answer you"

"You have to answer me dammit." Rey raised his voice.

"You want answer right. Then listen, eyes do lie at times reyaansh." Saying this she stormed off from there.

Once she reached some deserted area in the college, all her boldness abated. She closed her eyes to control her emotions.

"You can't be so weak kriya, you have to be strong. Avoid them as hard as you can. Right now you need to concentrate on your mission." Kriya motivated herself.

The next day kriya quickly got dressed and started out for college. She made sure she put that important paper containing that address. Already a day had been wasted and she couldn't afford to lose another. She wanted to quickly accomplish her work and then leave. It was difficult for her to avoid the gang especially him.

As soon as her college finished, kriya hired a taxi and went to a house with the help of an address. The ganv who were sitting in the basket ball court observed this and decided to follow her as kriya hurried.

Swayam was surprised on seeing where they reached. Kriya was standing right outside his old house.

"Abbe swayam yeh toh tera purana ghar hai, kriya yahan kya kar rahi hai?" Bharat asked.

Apart from bharat and swayam himself none of them knew that it was swayam's old house.

Now everyone was puzzled as well as curious to know what kriya was actually doing there. On the other hand kriya rang the doorbell. A lady opened the door. Kriya, then showed that lady a photograph and asked her if she knew the person in the photo. On getting a negetive response, dejectedly kriya proceeded to return. The gang hid themselves behind the trees so that kriya couldn't see them.

"Who might kriya be looking for?" Asked sharon.

"Well, only kriya can answer this question like the remaining ones." Answered vicky.

"Guys I'll see you around later." Rey said and left.

Curiosity was all over rey's mind and he secretly followed kriya. A disappointed kriya entered her house. On the other hand rey quickly climbed the pipe and entered her room. As expected kriya was sitting on her bed with an upset face.

"This address was the only hope I had. But now it's of no use. Some other people live there. Ab kya karu? Ma ko promise kiya tha ki mein unko dhund ke rahungi. How do I keep my promise."

Rey couldn't see her sad. He had to do something so that she'd return to her original self.

"Just a day passed by and you lost all your hopes" Rey said from behind shocking her. He actually mocked at her.

"I never knew kriya ghai is so weak." He continued.

Kriya regained her conscience and spoke "how dare you say that. And how did you manage to get in?"

"Sweetheart I entered just like I used to." He said.

This drove them both to their memories how rey used the pipe as a medium to enter her room. Unknowingly a smile curved up her face.

On seeing this smile, rey understood she still had feelings him. But there was something stopping her from accepting it.

"You look beautiful when you smile" He whispered in her ears. This made her shudder and come back to reality. On realizing the proximty they were sharing her eyes lowered.

"I know you love me then why don't you confess it."

Kriya's head shot up on listening this.

"Rey I don't" she said avoiding his gaze and trying to sound firm.

"Kitna jhoot bolne lagi ho tum." He said sounding a little hurt.

She paid a deaf ear to him started to move away from him. He pulled her back and said "look in to my eyes and say you don't feel anything for me."

Kriya gained her courage and with complete determination looked in to his eyes. The moment she locked her eyes against his, all her courage vanished in air. His eyes were still the same, captivating ones. Her eyes didn't dare to move an inch away from his as if someone casted a spell on her.

"You couldn't do it"

Exhaling out a short breath, she said "Rey I can't love you and please forget me. Loving me will only hurt you."

"I don't know tum kya chupa rahi ho but itna jaanta hu that no matter what I will never stop loving you and will always be right by your side."

"Rey we can never be together."

"At least tum itna to accept kar rahi ho that you love me."

"When did I say that?"

"Tell me what do you mean by we can never be together?"

Having no answer to reply kriya stayed mum. Rey made her look at him and spoke "Can we be friends at least?"

"Hmmm yeah"

"Toh ka aap apne is phirennd(friend) ko apni problem batayengi?" Rey said in his chabbilal tone.

In an instant kriya started giggling.

"Stay like this forever." Rey said enthralled in her laughter. In an instant kriya stopped laughing and gazed away.

"Yeah, so what's troubling you so much much?" Rey said to change the atmosphere.

"I'm actually trying to search for someone...and jab vo mil jayenge then I'll leave again."

"Tum yahan sirf thode din ke liye aayi ho?" Rey asked shocked. Kriya looked down. "But why?" Rey asked.

Taking a deep breath kriya said "for this I need to tell you the whole story."

"What story?"

Kriya closed her eyes for a moment and then began narrating all the events that occures from the day beforw the pre valentine's day. Rey was aghast when he learnt the real truth behind her sudden departure.

"Things between mom and me changed. I hardly spoke to ma. One day I couldn't control any longer and directly questioned her that why did she separate me from my love. That day I got the real truth about my father. My mom and dad loved each other. My dad was a dancer and was rich and spoilt. My mom's brother didn't like my dad and against his will my mom married my dad. From that day my uncle cut all his relations with my mom. But soon the equation between my parents changed. My so called dad hardly cared about my mother. When ma got to know that she was pregnant but dad bothered the least about it. All he cared was about money making. Then one day all of a sudden dad announced that he didn't want to continue this relation any longer and left us alone. My mom was broken and shattered from inside. Bearing a lot of hurdles she grew me up. She missed her brother a lot but didn't know where he was. All she knew was that he lived in Mumbai...The reason why mom was so over protective about me was that she didn't want me to suffer all the pain she has gone through and thinks that even you(rey) would to the same like my dad did. That day I promised mom that I would find maamu(mom's brother)"

As soon as kriya completed, Rey pulled her into a hug.

"I'm so sorry baatcutter. Damn! You've gone through so much and all I did was just blame you. I'm sorry love."

Kriya felt so secure in his arms. Her happiness had no bounds when she heard him adressing her 'love'. But she was hesitant to reciprocate his hug. On sensing her hesitance, rey pulled her more closer and wrapped her arms around his neck. Drowned in the pool of his love, she hid her face in his crook, inhaling his cologne.

After a few minutes rey pulled back as he felt his shirt getting wet. On seeing kriya sniffing slightly, he cuped her face and asked "Baatcutter what's wrong? Tum ro kyu rahi ho?"

"Rey I want to be with you, mujhe yahan se kahin nahi jaana, but ma kabhi nahi maanegi."

He wiped her tears and said "Shh, I will never let you away this time. Right now we should concentrate on finding your uncle."

"I promise kriya, I would try my best to restart our relationship." He said in his mind.

Kriya gave a short nod.

"Kriya, I think we should tell our friends about it."

"You sure?"

"Yeah"

"Hmm...ok...acha rey ek baat puchu?"

"Yeah sure."

"Uh, aap...taani...I mean aap toh taani se...fir break up...kya sach me?" Kriya stammered, leaving all her sentences incomplete.""

Rey understood what she meant and smiled at her.

"It's true that after you left I strongly got attached to taani. We got into a relationship, a close. We did behave like the typical couple falling in love for the first time. But some where we felt that there was something missing between us. The spark was missing between us. Though I hugged her, kissed her but the spark that I felt around you was missing. Eventually we weren't acrually in love. So we preferred to get over our relation and start afresh. Now we're good friends."

"You kissed her??" Kriya asked with wide eyes conveying that she was hurt.

"Yeah I did but only on the cheek." Rey replied as he understood her insecurity.

On hearing the reply kriya sighed in relief and a slight smile crept on her face.

"Ahaan! Someone's happy, I see."

"Rey you should get going now...bye..." kriya said trying to hide her flushed face.

The next Kriya and rey met in the atrium. Kriya was nervous about meeting the gang. Rey squeezed her hand assuring her that he's with her. They reached the rehearsal hall, and the gang was shocked to see Kriya and Rey entering together. Rey casually greeted everyone but kriya was a little tentative.

"Uh, hey guys" Kriya said with a nervous smile.

"What do you want now?" Sharon said in annoyance.

"Sharon, kriya wants to tell you guys something." Rey said on her behalf.

Even taani was present there and she inquired rey with her eyes that what's going on. Rey blinked his eyes asking to just wait and watch everything.

"Guys please listen to me once." Kriya said.

"Kriya everything's fine? You seem to be a little nervous." Swayam said.

"Yeah, just wanted to answer all your questions."

"Matlab?"

"Swayam mujhe aap sabko bolna about my sudden exit and again come back."

"Shoot." Sharon said, as she was curious to know what had happened with her.

Kriya narrated everything, that she told rey. Everyone felt culpable for not trusting her. Swayam was the first to hug her, followed by neha and the others. Taani just stood there and wondered how can someone love a person so much? She went towards rey who was smiling on seeing his love happy.

"You're lucky rey" Taani said.

"I know"

Kriya looked towards rey and blinked her eyes conveying her gratitude to which rey just smiled at her.

"Acha kriya, do you have any photo of your maamu?" Swayam asked.

"Ek hi photo thi, jo mom ke paas hai." Kriya replied with a gloomy face.

"Okay, no problem. Tum hume unke bare mein batao as in vo kya karte hai etc...We'll try to find him." Rey said.

Kriya gave them all the information she had. Swayam wondered that her uncle and his dad share the same name and kriya went to his old house in search of him. He had a doubt of both of them being the same person but soon chucked of his thoughts. They began their mission for finding him. A week passed by but they didn't find any clue about her uncle. They were in the rehearsal hall thinking of some other way.

"Bhai, taauji college mein hai." Taani came and informed them.

"What? Agar un hone mujhe rehearsal hall mein dekh liya toh shuru ho jayenge unke tantrums, and then a huge argument between us. Isliye it's better that I leave." Swayam said.

"But why?" kriya asked.

"Same problem like yours. My dad too is against dancing."

"Oh!"

Before swayam could leave, Rishi entered.

"Tumse aur expect bhi kya kar sakta hu? Class bunk karke tum yahan ho? Abhi bhi time hai, change your decision."

Kriya felt as if she had seen him some where. On stressing her mind, she realized that he was her uncle. Before swayam could reply, kriya interrupted "Aapka name Rishi hai na"

"Ha, but tum kaun ho?"

"Aap pehle dehradun mein rehte the na?"

"Ha, but tumhe kaise pata?"

"Omg! Maine finally aapko dhundh liya."

"But tum kaun ho?"

"Aapki behen, smriti ki beti."

Rishi was taken back when he heard smriti's name. This was the name he had been trying to forget in all these years but couldn't.

"How's she?" He asked politely.

"She's fine. Lekin aapko bahut miss karti hai."

"And how's your dad?" He asked without any emotions.

"I don't know." Kriya replied to which rishi looked at her puzzled. Kriya then told him that how her dad left them and how her mom brought her up all alone.

Rishi felt sad for his sister.

"Bola tha meine use, that he is not the correct guy, lekin use toh kisi ki bhi nai sunni. Ab hai kahan vo?"

"Ma, dehradun mein hai. Mein unhe abhi call karke yahan bulati hu."

Swayam was surprised to see his dad speaking softly with someone apart from taani.

As soon as kriya returned back from her call, he hugged swayam and said "Wow swayam we're cousins, that's great hai na?"

"Yup" he said while hugging her back.

"Taani tum kyu vahan khadi ho? Aao na, tum bhi toh meri sister huyi." Kriya said.

Taani smiled and hugged kriya.

It was evening and everyone was settled in kriya's house. Soon the bell rang and smriti entered in. She was so happy to see her brother. After all the emotional drama that took place, Rey gathered some guts and went towards smriti.

"Uh, aunty.." Before he could speak further "Oh, so Mr. shirtless wonder, tum bhi yahan ho?" Smriti said in her usual tone like always. This sank away all his guts. Everyone giggled at his expressions as well as the name by which smriti addressed him.

"Ji." Taking a deep breath, he continued "Aunty I love kriya so much. And I promise mein kabhi bhi uska dil nahi todunga. Apni jaan dena manzoor hai mujhe, lekin use hurt karna nahi. Please ek chance dedo."

Everyone had their fingers crossed. On finding no change in smriti's expression, rey turned to leave dejectedly. He reached the corridor and was about to enter the lift, when kriya hugged him from behind. He was astonished. She turned him towards her and said "I love you rey."

"Your mom agreed?"

"Yup. Maamu ne unhe convince kiya."

On hearing this rey picked her up and twirled her. He made her stand on her feet and quickly claimed her lips between his. It was a kiss full of love, passion, desire and trust.

"I promise to make this relationship continue forever." Rey said while leaning his forehead against hers and his hands cupped her face. "Me too" She said and pecked him on his lips once."
