CHAPTER 26: CONFUSED EMOTIONS

Yuvraj opened his eyes and look at Suvreen;The cardiography is showing a moving line.Suvreen is calling Yuvraj in her unconscious state.Yuvraj rushed over by Suvreen side and took her hand...
"Sweetheart...i'm here...do you hear me?"Yuvraj asked in worried
"Yuvv...Yuvraj"the last thing she said and fell asleep
Yuvraj smiled after listening to Suvreen's voice
After two days Suvreen was discharged from the ICU and was sent to a normal ward.
Suvreen was sitting on her bed looking outside the window of her ward when she heard a voice very familiar calling her...
"Hey sweetheart"
Suvreen turn towards Yuvraj,stare at his face and without a single word she turn her gaze back to the window...ignoring Yuvraj.
Yuvraj realized Suvreen is still mad at him,he walks towards her and took a seat next to her
"I'm sorry" Yuvraj said
Suvreen didnt respond to him.
Yuvi: "Sweetheart,please say something"
Suvi: "I'm tired,i want to sleep" she laid on the bed and closed her eyes ignoring Yuvraj who is still sitting next to her bed.
Yuvi: "I'll pick u up tommorow morning...Have a good rest sweetheart" He kissed Suvreen's forehead and leave the room.
Yuvraj reached the hospital early the next morning to pick Suvreen up.Along the way Suvreen didnt spoke a single word to Yuvraj and neither Yuvraj spoke to Suvreen to avoid her to be in a pressuring condition.After they reached home,Suvreen walk straight to the room next to their usual room and locked herself in.Next one week,none of them had a real conversation with each other,they would accidently bumped into each other at the kitchen or the living room and leave without saying anything to each other.
Its Thursday...after a lot of tension at his workplace Yuvraj drove himself straight home.When he reached home the usual silence was still there and it has crossed the limit of his patience that he intended to confront Suvreen.Yuvraj walk towards Suvreen's room and storm his way in...
Yuvi: "Suvreen" Yuvi called in a high tone but his words stops when he saw Suvreen was fast asleep on the couch of her room that was facing towards the glass wall of her room.
The moonlight that illuminates her face makes her look so angelic.Yuvraj sat next to Suvreen and caress her face,he didnt realize that his wife was so desireable till that day.He move himself closer to her until their lips touched and Suvreen waked up after she felt something was touching her lips.
Suvi: "What are you doing!?"
Yuvi: "Kissing you..sweetheart" He gave out a cheeky smile
Suvi: "What?"Suvreen closed her mouth with both of her hands.
Yuvi pretend to move himself closer and cause suvreen to jump off the couch
Suvi: "Leave!"she said with a teary eyes and tries to walk away from him when Yuvi get a hold of her hand.
Yuvi: "Why are you doing this to me?"
Suvi: "what is the problem?it shouldnt bother you because i meant nothing to you!"
Yuvi: "Sweetheart i'm sorry" He stood up and hold her shoulder "sweetheart,what do you want from me?"
Suvreen stare at Yuvi's face for a while and looked away "Yuvraj..lets end all this...lets end our marriage"
Yuvraj was shocked. "you hate me that much huh!?"Yuvraj said in anger and left the room,slamming the door.
For the next few days...Yuvraj was mad...he left the house to work early in the morning when Suvreen was still not awake and come home late at night when she is fast asleep.None of them really saw each other.
That Sunday...Suvreen woke up early.She left the house and went to a restaurant.
She was sitting at the restaurant when she met Sonia
Soni: "Hello Suvreen"
Suvi: "Hello"
Soni: "How are you?I heard about u gt admitted"
Suvi: "I'm fine...did Yuvraj tell u?"Suvreen asked with a stern smile
Soni: "He did..."Sonia realized there was sadness in Suvreen's voice when she decided to find out about Suvreen's real feelings "so Suvreen,what kind of husband is Yuvraj?"
Suvi: "Yuvraj... an idiot! naughty and a devil! he will irritates me with his perverted smiles! but sometimes he's a nice and caring husband...he'll take good care of you more than anyone have ever did...the women whom marry him will be so lucky to get a husband like him"Suvreen was lost into her thoughts when she was talking about Yuvraj and Sonia found out about Suvreen's feeling towards Yuvraj.
Soni: "Suvreen...u are talking about your husband as if you are talking about strangers"
Suvreen coughed listening to Sonia..
Soni: "Suvreen...take good care of your husband...i'll make my move now" she smiled.
Suvi: "See you around" Suvreen hugged Sonia.
This is the first time both of them having conversation with nobody else around and Suvreen feel good talking to Sonia although she knew Yuvraj have feelings for her.She can't blame Sonia for that because everything that is happening is out of her will.After spending some time at the restaurant,Suvreen went to the park.She took a seat at the park bench,took a deep breath and released it
"Wow, its nice to see the outside world for a change!"
"Ehem." someone coughed.
She looked around trying to find who it was coming from, then she saw Samar."What are you doing here?" she asked in a serious tone.
Samar: "Finding fresh air" He look at Suvreen and apologise "Suvreen i'm sorry"
Suvi: "Its okay Mr Raghuvanshi...I'm off now" Suvreen tries to walk away
Samar: "You are not okay!" he sat next to her on the bench "Suvreen there is something i need to ask you"
Suvi: "What?"
Samar: "Do you love Yuvraj?why did you marry him?"
Suvi: "What?why are you asking me all this?"
Samar: "Suvreen...you marriage just seems not real...i noe about what happened tat night and i noe about what yuvraj said"
Suvi: "It got nothing to do with you"
Samar: "Yes it is!"Samar let out a sigh "Suvreen there is something i need to tell you"
Suvi: "What is it Samar?"
Samar: "I love you..."
Suvi: "Samar?"
Samar: "I'm telling u the truth and if you can choose...i want you to pick me instead of Yuvraj"
Suvi: "Why should i pick you?"
Samar: "because...I will PROTECT you and i wont hurt u!never!"
Suvreen stood up and turn towards Samar "Samar,i appreciate ur love towards me but i can't accept your love...to tell you the truth i don't even know what i felt for Yuvraj but one thing for sure he's the precious one in my life and i would do anything to protect him even if it means hurting myself."she smiled "Samar,one day u will find a girl that suits u and understands u more than urself...and as a good friend i will pray the best for you...i'm sorry"
Samar: "So you love him?"
Suvi: "Only God knows" she smiled
Samar: "This is the first time i fell for someone and i got rejected...i guess i wasn't that much of a hot shot huh BEST FRIEND?"
Suvreen nods and both of them burst into laughter.
Suvreen wasn't aware that Yuvraj was looking at them from far and looking at them laughing causing his heart to burn with jealousy and misunderstandings on Samar and Suvreen's relationship.
Yuvraj's Office
Soni: "Hey bestie"
Yuvi didnt replied and he was doing his work seriously
Soni: "Yuvraj, are you okay?"
Yuvi: "I'm fine"
Soni: "What is in ur head?"
Yuvi: "Suvreen" Yuvraj accidently slips Suvreen's name and he stopped his work and stay still for a momment.
Soni: "Yuvraj,there is something i need to ask if you dont mind"
Yuvi: "What is it?"
Soni: "Why did you marry Suvreen?"
Yuvi look at Sonia with a confused face "What are u trying to say Soni?"
Soni: "I noe about you marriage and the contract...so you are taking revenge on her because your ego is hurt?"
Yuvi: "No"
Soni: "Then what make u marry her?"
Yuvi: "She's different from all the girls i know..she's pure and she brings smiles to everyone around her...and she's the only girl doesn't attracted to me"he chuckle
Soni: "So you love her?"she smiled
Yuvi: "Soni..i don't know"
Sonia smiled listening to Yuvraj confused mind..
Soni: "Yuvi be careful of that women,Rhea...and you should find out about your feelings before its too late" she winked
Sonia left Yuvi's office with a wide smile .In Sonia's mind she already found out about Yuvraj's feelings towards Suvreen "Stupid!Just admit it!You love her!This two are such a confused love birds"
After Sonia left his office,Yuvraj thinks about his feelings when suddenly the thoughts of Samar and Suvreen pops in his head. "Suvreen,u owe me an explaination!" he said in anger.
That evening Yuvraj rushed out from the office and furiously drove home after spending his Sunday doing nothing at the office.
"Evening Lil Master." A maid greeted.
"Where's Suvreen?!" he shouted. "Where is she?!"
"Miss. Suvreen is in the bedroom."
He ran upstairs, opened the door and saw her on the bed reading a book. Being more angry then before, he pulled her off the bed and gripped both her arms tightly.
"What are you doing!" She screamed. "You hurting me, let go!"
Yuvi: "Tell me Suvreen.." he spoke as calmly as he possibly can, but his face gave it all out, he was angry, mad, not to mention hurt. "Or, Should I say Mrs Khurrana, tell me you didn't leave the house today! Tell me you didn't go and meet Samar at the park! Or at least lie to me that you guys didn't have any relationship with each other!"
Suvi: "What are you talking about?!"
Yuvi: "Just tell me!" he shouted and shook her lightly.
Suvi: "I did leave the house, and I did go to the park, but I didn't plan on meeting Samar there!" she replied. "and about the relationship part, what are you talking about?!"
Yuvi: "I saw both of you at the park this morning!"
Suvi: "Then this conversation is over then." as she was about to open the door, Yuvraj violently grabbed her back and threw it on the bed.
Yuvi: "Don't turn this around, just when I thought you were different from all the other girls, you have to prove to me that all of you are the same!" he scolded her. "Let me guess, you were planning to have two husbands at once?!"
Hearing those words, the way he insulted her was just like throwing oil into the flames.
Suvi: "Course not! Because once I divorce you, I'm going to marry Samar!" she angrily answered. Since all the blame was placed upon her, what else could she do? If at this point, he wasn't even listening to her.. There's not that much to explain. "There's only a few more months left right?"
Yuvraj loosened his tie and threw his jacket to one side of the room. Gripping her hands together above her head, he made his way on top of her. "Get off of me!" she screamed. "What are you doing?! Get off of me!" Suvreen screamed and cried, but this time he ignored her.
Suvreen gripped her hands, closed her eyes shut, and rolls of tears made its way down her cheeks. As she tried to struggle away from him, only made Yuvraj put more pressure on her. For once, she was weaker than she thought. "I hate you so much…." ..the words she was screaming inside her mind..
