CHAPTER 25: I'LL PROTECT YOU!

Samar's room
"I was wrong,I shouldn't said that to her...It wasn't her fault" Samar took his cell phone and starts dialling Suvreen's number.After a few minutes a guy picked up the phone
Rehan: "Hello"
Samar: "Sorry,I was calling my friend...i think i've called the wrong number"
Rehan: "Wait...who is this?"
Samar: "I'm Samar...i was calling for Suvreen"
Rehan: "Samar,i'm Rehan...Suvreen's brother"
Samar: "Owh...i'm sorry for calling quite late...is Suvreen around?"
Rehan: "Samar...Suvreen is in the ICU...her condition is critical"
Samar got shocked listening to the news and he accidently dropped his phone to the ground...
THE HOSPITAL
YUVRAJ P.O.V
Yuvraj reached the hospital as fast as possible after he got the news from Rehan.He saw Rehan was standing outside the ICU. Yuvraj walk closer to Rehan.
Rehan: "Yuvraj"
Yuvi: "What happen?"
Rehan: "I dont know...when i reached home i saw her in the pool...not moving" He said with a red eyes
Yuvi: "Where is she?"
Rehan: "She's in there" Rehan pointed to the ICU
A while later the doctor and medical staff came out of the ICU..
Yuvi: "Doctor...how is she?"
Doctor: "She is still critical,lets hope she'll be stable in 24 hours or you should be prepare for the worst"
Yuvi widen his eyes in shocked
Rehan: "What do you mean doctor?"
Doctor: "I mean if she didn't gain consciousness and her heart fails...there is no chance for her to survive...I'm sorry sir"
Yuvi tries to calm Rehan
Yuvi: "Doctor,can i see her?"
Doctor: "Yes"
Yuvraj walk into the ICU.His heart almost stopped when he saw Suvreen who is unconscious and all the breathing support system.He gathered all the strength left in him and walk closer to her and land himself on the chair beside Suvreen's bed.
Yuvraj took Suvreen hands and plant a kiss.
"I am Sorry sweetheart...I am very sorry"He caress her face gently
"I Was wrong...i was wrong for not fulfilling my promise...i was wrong for letting you down...i was wrong for everything...Sweetheart...i was wrong when i said u meant nothing in my life...because u are someone in my life...you are precious...but i couldn't admit it..because.."
Samar P.O.V
Samar reached the hospital and rushed to the ICU...Infront of the ICU he gently opened the door when he saw Yuvraj and he secretly listen to all the things he said.Listening to Yuvraj's confession,Samar is filled with anger thinking how hurtful for Suvreen to listen to all the harsh things Yuvraj said.He left the room in anger to prevent himself from creating a fuss in the ICU.
Yuvraj P.O.V
"Sweetheart...please..come back"he said in tears
He plant a kiss on Suvreen's forhead before leaving
Yuvraj left the ICU and lean on the wall "ITS BECAUSE I PROMISED SOMEONE I'LL PROTECT HER!" he punched the wall in frustration.
Suddenly Yuvraj felt someone is pulling his shoulder...before he could even react a punch hit his face and he fell on the floor.
"Samar" Yuvi said when he realize Samar was the one punching him
Samar pull Yuvi by his collar and pointed out to his face
Samar: "You did this to her!"
Yuvraj widen his eyes looking at Samar's reaction
Samar: "Last time she cried because of you! There is nothing I can do to help her! Its all because of you!"He let go of Yuvi's collar "Tell me one thing, why did you marry her?"
Yuvi: "That got nothing to do with you! Its between me and my wife!" Yuvi said in anger.
Samar walk towards the ICU and look at Suvreen from a glass window at the door.He turns his head towards Yuvraj.
Samar: "Listen to me carefully Yuvraj Singh..from now onwards I'll try my hardest to take her away from you! You can do whatever you want to stop me!"
Yuvi was shocked listening to Samar's confession
Samar walk towards Yuvi and stops infront of him "I'LL PROTECT HER BECAUSE YOU COULDN'T DO IT!" Samar word was like a slap across Yuvi's face.Samar walks away from there after saying those words to Yuvraj.
'I'll never let go of her' Yuvi said looking at Suvreen from the glass window.
SUVREEN P.O.V
The place is bright and calm...A hill garden filled with colorful flowers,butterflies flying freely and a shining bright sun.Suvreen walk passing by a pond and she stops looking at the image in the pond. She look at herself from bottom to top; a knee-length flowy white dress,her long braided hair and her pretty face.
"Where am I" Suvreen look around the garden when she saw a women sitting on a bench at the garden. Suvreen smiled when she realized who that women was and walk closer to her. "Mumma"
Mumma: "Come here my princess"
Suvi: "Mumma,is this really you?"
Mumma Guggal smiled."Yes my dear"
Suvi: "I missed you mumma"
Mumma: "I missed you too"
Suvi: "Mumma can i stay with you?"
Mumma: "Why do you want to do so?"
Suvi: "Nobody needs me...but i need you"
Mumma: "Are you sure nobody needs you?what about your husband?"
Suvi: "He doesnt need me...I meant nothing to him"
Mumma: "What about him?does he meant nothing to you?"
Suvi: "I dont know and I don't care"
Mumma Guggal smiled looking at Suvreen childish act "Suvi closed your eyes and think of someone close to you heart and tell me what you see"
Suvreen listens to her mother and closed her eyes and the image that appears was Yuvraj.Mumma Guggal could guessed the answer to her question without asking Suvreen by looking at her daughter's tears.
Suvreen open her eyes slowly and looked at her mother.
Mumma: "So what if you meant nothing to him...he meant something to you...right?"
Suvi: "Yes"
Mumma: "love him all you can suvi" mumma guggal smiled
Suvi: "I dont know about loving him...but...I'LL PROTECT him from getting hurt because he meant something to me
Mumma Guggal hugged her daughter.Suddenly Suvreen find herself getting sleepy "Mumma...i feel very sleepy...mumma...don't...don't...leave me"
YUVRAJ P.O.V
Yuvraj was sitting next to Suvreen when the machine gave out a sign that Suvreen heartbeat is failing
"DOCTOR!!!!" Yuvi shouted from the ward
"Baby...dont do this to me...breath please...baby please" he plant a kiss on Suvreen lips
Doctor: "You shouldnt be here...please leave sir"
Yuvi: "No!I wanna stay!"
Nurse: "You should leave sir...we need to treat her"
Suvreen hearts stops and the cardiography machine is showing a straight interval line.
The doctor is using the autopulse machine on Suvreen...
Yuvraj couldn't hold back his tears looking at Suvreen's condition...
"Sweetheart...please come back...please..."Yuvraj knelt infront of Suvreen's bed...
Yuvraj close his eyes and all the sounds and rushing happening around him seems to disappear from his ears...The only thing in his mind is Suvreen and all their memories together... "Suvreen" The only word that came out from his mouth...
"YUVRAJ" a voice fading from his ears...
