SRK's Chennai Express sold for Rs 48 crore

By Bollywood Hungama News Network, Aug 1, 2013 - 11:07 hrs IST

Shah Rukh Khan is certainly a busy man these days. With the promotions of his upcoming film Chennai Express in full swing, the actor has been literally skipping for one event to the other. Though there is quite a while for the film to release, we hear that the makers have already managed to sell the satellite rights of the film.

In fact an upcoming channel called '& Pictures' has bought the satellite rights of Chennai Express for a surprising Rs 48 crore. However the purchase comes with a unique clause stating that the said channel will cough up more than the amount if the film crosses the Rs 100 crore mark, while various slabs are being created for categories above Rs 100 crore.

Directed by Rohit Shetty Chennai Express which stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone is slated for release this Eid.

what is really amazing that all this money has to be paid to income tax too...otherwise the officers will raid them and blacklist them...

entertainment world is lots of money but its not easy though...

they have to pay to lots of people in the film...and finally income tax their raasta ka kaanta...🤣
