Again I'd say, you might think Sultan is the cause in the fall of TRPs, but maybe that's not the case? The show is a year old, eventually people do not watch them with the same level of interest as before as it's a daily soap. There are very rare cases where TRPs are always sky high no matter how old the show is. And if it weren't for the Sultan track, all we would have seen would be Madhu and Deepali's cat fights, Madhu crying over something every now and then, and RK saying pack up on the sets.

For me, RK-Bala scenes had gotten way too monotonous and it was Sultan's track that brought me back to the show. Like many others. I agree with you that people have a right to express their feelings, but there is a way of doing that right? I am sure you're not the kind of a person who'd approve of people making racist remarks on the actor and bashing him crudely just because they don't like the character he's playing. But all I have seen is people taking advantage of their freedom of speech and making the most vulgar comments regarding Avinesh.

I know fans of Vivian Dsena adore him. But doesn't mean that those who like VD would like RK too. For example, I like Avinesh, but I am not liking this new side of Sultan. My point is, more than the actors, people look for a good storyline and characterization. So sometimes it can also be that the TRP audience despite liking VD is not liking RK. Same goes with AR/Sultan. Thus the fluctuating TRPs. That is my only argument. People's tastes keep on changing. What they like in the past is exactly what they might not enjoy in the present or future. So we should not speculate on our own regarding what's good and what's bad for the TRPs and instead just take each day as it comes and enjoy watching the story as a whole and not just our favorite characters 😊

You all are more than welcome to discuss and speculate about the TRP of the show without targeting certain character and the fan base. Yet this whole thread is diverted towards "blame game" on who did what, who has done, who is better and all. Additionally members are name calling characters and also getting into personal attacks with each other whilst discussing the TRP. Please do understand that all this can be done in a civil way without targeting each other.
