The track was way too stretched for a week...full of violence...
Irritating to the core...
But not new to BV...once when Anandi was kidnapped...some gundas tried to get her after which jagya saved her...that time too they were literally too much.

Some can go to any extent to get good viewership

I agree it was scary to some but women getting gang raped , tied to trees and burnt , hit , stripped on roads etc happens in rurall India on a large scale . So those watching this serial there won't be that surprized or shocked and i feel BV is sending out a message that an abused woman can get a life too , these difficulties will be there but all is not lost yet , still stand up and fight .

I think that even though BV is shown at 8.00 pm prime time it is not for kids. I do agree that it showed violance which can be toned down a little but the good thing is that it always gives you a moral at the end which is to learn lessons. Also it always shows that the good wins over the evil. Even some of the kids moral stories include violance but that I think is for good so that we can know and learn rather than learning from mistakes.

I know worse happens in rural India and I mentioned it before. But all things aren't meant to be shown explicitly right?

And it is not just about kids. Even older people, middle aged people, people with heart or nervous problems etc. can't tolerate such violent scenes.

Generally also people watch TV to relax, around tea time, dinner time. While they can relate to emotional drama, it is only stressful for them to watch excessive violence.

Even news channels are now told to cover violence with restraint. Then why can't a prime time show take care of what they show?

The haveli burning sequence was sensationalism and not exactly some issue/message.

Yes. Only for sensationalism...for that they contradict their own moral messages.
