I called my Brother and asked him...

That in what conditions marriage is not complete.

He said that in certain conditions if parents are alive and they object to the wedding for valid reasons it can become null and void. If there is a secret wedding and if Ghafur objects to the wedding , he can take Zoya home with him. Though that never happens but some scholars believe that if need be .. This ruling can be allowed.

Marriage without parent's consent can be a cause for the annulment of marriage, unless father's objection is simply based on other than the valid considerations: that would be the case if they object to a marriage based on race, ethnicity, family status, wealth, etc.

I mean, it's inevitable that he won't consent to it but IMO his reason will not be legitimate to render the marriage null and void.

At least I hope so 😆

For all this to happen Ghafoor first has to accept that Zoya is his daughter. I doubt he will accept it as his izzat is very important to him.

So far in Qubool Hai, we haven't seen such little details being taken into consideration, for example Tanveer being pregnant and getting married to Asad.
So I don't think they'd involve a whole track based on just that rule.

I'm actually really conflicted when it comes to Ghafoor's character. Take for example the fact that he was in on the whole plan to kill Dilshaad by hiring Raghu and yet when Ayaan suggested that they keep Rajni/Humaira at SM, he was harping on about how it's a criminal offense to keep someone without their consent 🤔

CC I agree completely with you! Gaffur will never accept Zoya and he can care less about her. Not once in so many years did he try to find her. Just one time we saw him asking Raziya about her but he still could care less.

His izzat comes before anything and he does not have high regards for Zoya either. Also, he would never ever want to take her to his home. He would rather get rid of her. 😡

I was thinking that ... After secret Nikah Gafur who clearly still thinks about her daughter sometimes ...will take her away by force saying that Main iss Shaadi Ko nahin maanta or something like that...

He cannot ask for divorce for her cause in Islam if divorced then you will have to marry someone else before remarrying ...the first husband... Zoya would want to go to her father ...and then after all is hale and hearty the war comes to an end...after a year

There will be a grand Nikah... With puppy and flowers proposal .. What Zoya told to immigration officer and all the Rassam once again...

But he may find some strong reason, its not that difficult for him and plus its drama, and logic may fail...

I agree! His so called b.s. morals and izzat and ego come before anything else. He could care less about anyone but himself. Truly him and Raziya are perfect for eachother. Although he does have a soft corner for Humera but when it comes to Zoya I think he will reject her in a millisecond.
