Symbolism
1. Asad runs into the room and gets the Album (past) - Zoya keeps on protesting.
Maybe Zoya will not want Asad to find out about her past/Abbu but Asad comes to the truth and tells her.
2. Asad plays with the Album and Zoya keeps on protesting to give it to her back
Asad may have the rassi to rule how the Past plays with her present but Zoya stays in denial. Maybe Asad will come to know and not tell her who her father is and her being illegitimate but Zoya stays adamant on knowing more about it.
3. The Album (past) falls so does the Letter of Wishes (Zoya's wishes- her happy life with Asad)
Asad lets go of the Album - Maybe he wont care about the Truth anymore. But Zoya chooses her past. Zoya grabs the album where as Asad chooses Her wishlist. Zoya may chose her Father, but Asad will choose her Happiness and her Wishes to keep her happy not her Past.
