Precap: Scenes of Niyati-Shaurya talking, Chachi ji receiving Jhanvi's phone call and announcing it on the mike, Shaurya and Niyati's shocked faces.
Shaurya and Niyati are shocked as Shaurya wonders how many more lies he will have to say because of his first lie about loving Niyati. Niyati is also shocked and wonders what will happen. Chachi comes and gives the phone to a stony Shaurya saying that it's long distance and that she had been waiting on the phone for long.
Shaurya hesitantly takes the phone and leaves from there, explaining to Jhanvi that there was a party going on. Everyone else seems to have forgotten that a certain Jhanvi called as Vikram is shown talking with some guests. Shaurya tries to explain to Jhanvi that this was not his fault and that he didn't want this engagement to take place. Niyati is watching him as he tries to convince Jhanvi that everything will be ok. Meanwhile, Rajlakshmi is also taking notice of what is going on between the two.
Vikram notices Niyati standing on the stage alone while Shaurya is quite far away, talking on the phone. He excuses himself and goes to enquire from Niyati about who Shaurya is talking to. Niyati says that he was talking to her friend Jhanvi and Vikram says that this is odd, she is your friend yet Shaurya keeps talking to her. Shaurya suddenly spots Vikram and Vikram tells him to let Niyati talk to Jhanvi. Shaurya is stuck and hesistantly hands over the phone to Niyati. Niyati starts talking to Jhanvi, but Jhanvi is shocked and asks where Shaurya is. Niyati is trying to appear normal as she says that the engagement happened so quickly that she wasn't able to tell her. Jhanvi (uff she's so mean) tells Niyati to shut up and stop messing around and to give the phone to Shaurya. Niyati makes up an excuse saying she has to go and hangs up. Shaurya leaves from there while Rajlakshmi who is watching the drama from the back, follows him.
Shaurya is on the terrace and is telling Jhanvi not to cry and that he loves her. He tells her that engagement is just for show and then suddenly stops as he spots Rajlakshmi in front of him. She advances towards him and snidely says Jhanvi's name and then takes the phone out of Shaurya's hand and starts talking to Jhanvi. She assures Jhanvi that she won't let anyone come between them and says this is a vow by the Rathod's khandhan's kulvaddhu. Rajlakshmi talks to Shaurya saying you did nothing wrong, just fell in love and butters him up saying she will help him in every way she can. She tells him to return to America to fulfill his promises to Jhanvi and she will handle everything here. She then thinks evilly that Shaurya will help her ruin Niyati's life.
Shaurya goes back to the engagement and tells Niyati that Bua sa knows about Jhanvi.

Shaurya is sitting in his room depressed when Niyati walks in and kneels in front of him asking if he is worried about Jhanvi. Shaurya says he is ashamed with himself for lying and making Niyati's life a joke. He tells her that she is still doing her duty as a friend and he can't do his duty as a friend or a lover. He walks away saying that the person he is doing all this for doesn't even trust him and that she has threatened to come to India if he doesn't reach America in two days. He says that he won't go to America, he won't worry about Jhanvi if she doesn't worry about him.
Niyati walks over to Shaurya and slowly puts her hand on his shoulder and tells him that Jhanvi is just scared to lose the one closest to her. She tells him that for a girl, the biggest pain in life is for her love to go away and that Jhanvi is right in what she is saying and doing. She makes Shaurya promise her that he will go to America and won't break Jhanvi's hopes and dreams. Shaurya says he can't go, he can't lie to his family anymore and he breaks down. Niyati says that he has just said one lie, that he loved Niyati and that they should be thankful that it has only reached the engagement at the moment.
She takes Shaurya's hand and places it on her head, making him vow that He would go to America the next day. Shaurya says mein vaada karta hoon and takes his hand slowly off of Niyati's head and holds her hand close to his heart. She tearfully leaves his room thinking that she isn't as lucky as Shaurya as she didn't get the person she loved but she wouldn't let Shaurya separate from his love. She walks away as Shaurya watches her through the window.

Samar is on the phone yelling at some property person and Vikram is shown sick and taking some medicine. Samar yells into the phone that Rajveer couldn't come and that Vikram couldn't come either as he was sick. Vikram takes the phone and Deshmukh ( I think that's his name lol) says that it is important that they sign the papers for the court tomorrow. Vikram says he is coming. Antra tries to reason with Vikram to take rest but Vikram says that it is important that he goes. Dadi sa stops him and says that Shaurya will go himself and sign the papers. Shaurya and Niyati look at Dadi sa with a shocked expression. Vikram says that Shaurya doesn't know what's going on with the business and Dadi says that he has grown up now and he doing an MBA course in America. She tells Shaurya to go in his father's place and show Vikram what he's worth. Vikram finally agrees and asks Samar to go with Shaurya as well and inform him on what is going on.
Shaurya is all packed and coming down the stairs and asks Niyati what will happen now. He wonders what will happen if Jhanvi shows up while he is away. Niyati tells him not to worry and that they will think of something. Shaurya takes blessings from his mom and dad and Niyati says that she will wait for him and they all watch as he leaves.
Niyati is in the room searching for something. She calls Jhanvi but before she can say anything, Jhanvi lashes out at her saying that she never knew Niyati would be looking at Shaurya in this type of way. Niyati explains to Jhanvi that Shaurya will always be hers and that something has come up for two days but as soon as he returns, he will go straight to America. Suddenly Niyati spots the famous BUA sa! Rajlakshmi comes inside and starts taunting her about the fake engagement and about playing with other's feelings. She says she now understands Niyati's plans and continues taunting her until suddenly someone calls out DIDI! Antra is at the door and looking horrified at what is going on in front of her. She comes in and says that this is enough! She asks how long Rajlakshmi would continue to blame Niyati for everything. Rajlakshmi defends herself against Antra

Well, I don't know what to think anymore, this Jhanvi seems a bit insecure to me, and well Shaurya's gone for a few days….wonder if this means more run ins with Agni who was absent in today's episode.
