The Legend of Bhagat Singh, In my opinion it had a tighter narrative and better edited storyline than Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. BMB meanders and gets irrelevant at points. I might get chastized for this, but I think TDP was a better made movie than BMB. BMB is a great movie in itself with great acting etc. Poor editing and undue length is its undoing.

Bandit Queen was a gritty well made movie, but it lacked a commercial appeal. It was more niche audience. I think Paan Singh Tomar is also in a similar category, lacking commercial appeal.

Legend of Bhagat Singh was an awesome movie. I can re-watch it any time. Ajay Devgan was too good! Its hard to believe that the movie flopped. 🤢
