Anita Hassanandani, formerly known as Natassha began her career as a model, working in advertisements for Sunsilk, Boroplus and other renowned brands. She made her television debut in 2001 in Ekta Kapoor's highly successful serial Kabhi Souten Kabhi Saheli. During the serial she auditioned for Balaji Telefilms' Kucch To Hai, and her sweet innocent look bagged her the role of Tashu. Hassanandani also worked in Krishna Cottage — a supernatural thriller and Koi Aap Sa. But this actress is best known for her role of Anjali in the popular serial Kkavyanjali. Apart from her mainstream hindi performances, she has also worked in a few South Indian movies.
The 25-year-old has now taken a break from shooting as she has been continously working for the last two years. Hassanandani is a resident of Khar and was very happy when a gym opened there. Once she got started on a regular exercising routine, she felt a positive change in her life. A simple girl, Hassanandani is good at heart and sports a easy-going nature. She says, "Be it a film star or layman, every one should workout as it enhances the quality of life." Her mantra of fitness is simple — eat right, workout every day, sleep well and drink lots of water.
