"You think I am not UNEMPLOYED today for long periods?" Ranvir Shorey on stability in acting

"Being on the map is also short-lived (laughing), trust me. You think just because of that week in 2005, 2006, you think I was never unemployed after that? I have spent a year, a year and a half sometimes not working at all, after that so called burst in that year, still do, many times."

His words cut through the glamour often associated with the industry, revealing how fleeting success can be, even after widely appreciated work.
