I feel this scene was enacted to murder all feelings between Bani and Pia. There is no more Bani Pia relationship after this. Khalas.

It would be an irony, here we have Pia who is chasing Jai to give his name to her child and on the other hand we have Bani whose child Jai is dying to give his name to but Bani doesn't want it (this is my interpretation of the promo)
