Your ability to absorb ... to assimilate ...and then to analyse each scene ...each nuance... to feel the undercurrents of the interactions between the various characters ... the overall dynamics of the story ...and then finally to put them all into words ... and that too sooo Beautifully ...Your ability is amazing ...astoundinggg... 👏👏As for the real world impinging on the reel world ... I can only say that try some detachment exercises ... immerse yourself only in the story ... one can only try not to let oneself be bothered by gossip and rumours . 😊

Thanks again for all the lovely words, Twila 🤗As per the bold, ever since the start I've been having problems with the depiction of Kumud by J. It was only with that phonecall sequence that she drew me in. And kept hold. Yesterday that hold faltered, but I gave it another try... I perservered then and I sure can persevere now 😳 But on some level, rumors do suck the fun out of a show's experience... Even if all they do is, distract =)

Arshi, your lines, beautifully broken, as always... Your choice of words esp are so evocative 👏
Starting with a rant today, albeit limited to just one line: "Jennifer Winget, you are proving to be a double-edged sword for Saraswatichandra and its viewers." Enough said. Was not even going to make a post. Because I watched the epi and I totally dissasociated with Kumud. Her solo scenes did not immerse me as usual. But then I looked at the larger picture and decided to soldier on. I'm glad I perservered because today's episode... It was good 👍🏼Performances: Gautam, for a yet another subtle, versatile and nuanced manipulation ⭐️ And Buddhi Dhan, Pramad... For bringing enough understated intrigue in their interaction to leave one wanting for more 👍🏼 Take a bow, all three! 👏The confrontation, as anticipated, did not happen. What little did happen tho, was enough to light a fire of niggling curiosity under Kalika. Her taking steps back... He moving towards her... Playing in to the hands of an undeclared audience of one. Unaware. Both Saras and Kumud are operating fully under emotions at the moment and it is also reasonable, considering how brutally they have been assailed by life, fate and their own choices. However, while they are adrift at sea, others are poised to take full advantage of their helplessness, their incoherence by virtue of each other and most especially their Achilles heels, which happen to be each other only. However, once they find enough respite and gather enough strength to exercise some semblance of control, fate will once again have masterfully made them its pawns. On some level, Saras and Kumud are oblivious to all else in front of each other. And this cannot go on for long, not under the same roof. They might not realise, but others slowly will, especially if they display dogged determination and S and K give them the fuel, and by the time Saras and Kumud realise, the house of cards will have fallen down again. Leaving even more relationship casualties in its wake, than ever before.Buddhi Dhan: He displays more heart towards Saras than he does towards his own, Pramad. Kumud he has brought purely as a corrective influence for his aimless, wayward scion. She is the means to an end for Buddhi Dhan. With her he is not attached. But with Saras "Navinchandra" he is... So much so that he emphathises and is left genuinely concerned about his state, has looked deep into his tortured orbs and excavated the sadness buried in his eyes, the inner, immense hurt in his heart. BD is very astute, he chooses to see what he wants to, and once he makes his choice, he gives it a thorough once over with nothing less than a million watt laser. Had Saras been in control of all his emotions, he would have flinched at the subtle scrutiny levelled at him, the deep insight BD has on him already and would have made plans to walk out, ASAP. Unfortunately, Saras, in his current state is only thinking of one thing right now. How to pacify Kumud. His priorities are all too clear: Kumud, Kumud, and Kumud. Plus, BD is offering him the stability, the fatherly hand to hold, that he has so desperately craved. His resolve to leave will only grow weak when faced with resistance. Because there is quite a lot holding him back. He is burning in the hell of his own making, but being the man he is, he will never settle for a pain any less acute. That is the thing about Saras, when he tries to atone, he does it with blinkers on. And his focus is usually single-minded.And, come to think of it, so is Kumud's... They both have blinkers on when it comes to each other... Distance (physical only) may give them some perspective. But physical proximity, plays grand havoc with their intelligence and emotions. The questions Kumud persists on asking others, she is only laying a future trail of breadcrumbs leading to her and Saras... Even with someone as murakh as "Murakhdass"... You simply don't take the chance. Because when fate is dead set against you, even the clowns in the pack are going to make you cry. Eventually. And there is already one person with a grudge enough in that household to mark the two's every move. In the quest for information, K esp is being v, v careless. She wants honey, she should go direct to the bee. But, Kumud being Kumud, why would she? As Hgg laid it out so well, her notorious anger is yet to subside. And still she forgets all when confronted with even the merest hint of his predicament. Kumud should realise she is behind enemy lines now, esp after her repeatedly clashing swords with P and Kalika. She has made enemies and that is a fact she should not dismiss, but of course, her concern for Saras and her protectiveness towards him, her haq that she still exerts, in no uncertain terms, overrides all.The Saras as usurper motif was highlighted again today... With Saras taking the place of Pramad in the seating arrangements. And the Alak - Saras - BD connect again taking centre stage. The question tho is will Saras deliver an even greater blow to BD's heart, hopes and expectations than Pramad has managed in all of his years? BD visibly melts like a pink marshmallow when it comes to "Navin", in all of their interactions, he has never once dismissed "Navin" the way he does Kumud, Pramad, and others. Only Alak occupies the same position in his regard. So will Alak aid in this downfall of BD by becoming attracted to Saras? The rejoinder that all eyes are going to be on us, meant for Pramad at an obvious level, but what if the unusual suspects end up giving BD's political enemies something to use against? Pramad may be the black sheep, but there is no dearth of dark horses in BD's mansion as well... Even angels such as Saras have the potential to unleash hell for BD, if fate so wills. And fate, that merciless bast**d... He will. All signs are v worringly, pointing southward.VC... I don't get you. You're still willing to give LN a chance? If you are feeling so benevolent, please shower that chance on Saras instead of his blind, and henpecked father! The same father who left your sister at the altar, without even a look back or an ounce of regret. At least the son, in whatever capacity he could, tried to make amends. Fell down making them. So Bravo to Guniyal for stopping him 👏 LN does not deserve mercy, the hand of friendship still or even the littlest benefit of doubt. For the Desai's, after all of this, he should be clear out of chances. The only thing that irked was S still being counted in the league of villains such as Gumaan and LN. Even after Sunny explaining all yest... At least, the flashbacks indicated so. Felt like a disjoint there 😕Special mention: Love the way the camera has been zooming in on Saras and Kumud's feet in the last few epi's. Something so vivid about that. Brings home the gravity of their choices... The moving forths and backing off's... Also brilliantly highlights the vulnerabilty of their states and the instability of their minds. There is something so touching and tender about feet, wavering incoherently... At times doubting its own resolve. At times hesitant to move forth. Brilliant device, this! 👏Another little marker was placed today... The baby BIL finally got a name, Sid. And just when Saras finally appears to have hit a roadblock in ways to pacify this Kumud... Dejected he covers his head in his hands almost appearing to pray for Divine Intervention, and thus appears Sid. And shows Saras the way to the first step: Apologise. Cutely done. But will it suffice now? Will K in her fire, accept?Buddhi Dhan and Pramad convo: Utterly unexpected dynamics got revealed. Taali, ekk haath se kabhi nahi bajti. If BD has a case against his useless son, so it appears has Pramad one against his utterly too-useful father. BD's fatherly pride is condescending. Pramad proposes his place and instead of disposing, BD lovingly concurs: Yes, you are my dog. So why has he chained K to this "dog"? BD is just like Toni, haste haste, bahut hi pyaar se chanta marta hai 😆 By virtue of that, his barbs hurt even more. Could feel a smidge of sympathy for Pramad coming thru. Would sure love to know what got son and esp father to this stage of outright condescension today. At times BD acts as though Pramad is irredeemable. So why use K as the instrument for a mission you have no faith in? He threatens Pramad with Alak... Again hinting that the SIL has powers yet to be revealed. So Yash is potentially headed to the household, where with BD gone, Alak will reign with Saras as her second-in-command. The throne lies empty, and the strikes are getting ready. Will Buddhi Dhan return to unforeseen destruction, instead of a victory much anticipated? MIL has already unaware given Saras and Kumud her blessings. Pramad is leaving no stone unturned to push Kumud through every threshold her conscience creates. Saras, is attempting, but too late of stemming the dangerous flow that threatens to pull everything under. He can never up and go. Alak is going to rely on Saras more and more. Pramad's resentments will gain momentum. Kumud persists on giving both Pramad and Kalika clues that will add up to the destruction of the facade she is struggling to hold. All in all, a very volatile mix is stirring. Missing but one ingredient to send everything bubbling over searing everything and everyone in its path. Buddhi Dhan's absence seems portentous... Waiting to see who will take full advantage of it... The dark sheep, the dark horses, or the fallen angels?Bottom line: Mixed feelings about tomorrow's epi. Promises to be powerful by the precap, but if I am not immersed. I'm not immersed. Sigh! The external environment truly is inescapable. Waiting to see if Jennifer manages to pull me back in. Or if her rumored limitations still manage to overpower 😵
