The Rs 100 crore club in Bollywood is going strong with movies repeatedly crossing the mark and the latest to join the club is Bollywood debutante Dhanush with his 'Raanjhanaa' directed by Anand L Rai. The film narrates the story of a Muslim girl falling in love with a Hindu boy with Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor in the lead and has supposedly crossed 100 Cr worldwide.
The National Award winning actor from south has made a mark in Bollywood with his very first film and Dhanush would be celebrating the success of the film in Mumbai today. 'Raanjhanaa' also features Swara Bhaskar, Abhay Deol and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayub in important role and has music by A R Rahman.

Dhanush's Raanjhanaa attained a rare feet of grossing 100 crores world wide. It is rare to achieve this kind of tremendous success in a debut film and Dhanush achieved it in style. Raanjhanaa had Dhanush,Sonam Kapoor in the lead and Aanand L Roy directed it. According to Bollywood critics AR Rahman's music and Dhanush's acting were the highlights.
In Tamil till now Rajini,Kamal and Vijay achieved the '100 crore gross' mark and now Dhanush joined the list which is a proud moment for the actor's fans .

Dhanush starrer Mariyaan which released on July 19, has started looting the Box Office. The latest buzz says that Dhanush's Bollywood debut Raanjhanaa, which released on June 21 is still active in Box Office collection. Raanjhanaa is a romantic flick starring Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor, directed by Anand L Rai. Reportedly it is said that the movie has crossed 100 crore, worldwide in the Box Office.
