Hi Everyone,

So I really do not want this event to happen in the story line. I don't know if I want them to disappear altogether, or whether I just want Jalal to give a safe haven to BK's wife and son...but I don't see the necessity in him having to marry her. Sure it happened according to historical fact, but it just doesn't seem right to me for him to marry her, and then so quickly thereafter hes going to marry Jodha...What do you think?

...salima sultan was the first cousin of akbar so their is no question of mother lke figure as they grew up together...like raquia salima was also childhood frn of Jalaal
bairam khan was 38 years elder to salima and she was bethrothed to bairam as the token of appreciation from hamunyan... jalaal though attended the marriage but personally he never approved it as there was a considerable age difference.between salima and bairam ...in later year he put a ban on the unmatched marriage if the age difference exceed 12 years between the couple in the words of Abul fazl he abhor unmatched marriage for him it was worst of all marriages..probably this was the reason he married salima

some historical argues tht he married her on the instance of his mother as she was from royal lineage and generally the children belonging to royal lineage are married in royal family...😳

I don't want him to marry her but if that's how it was in history then so be it

We must get used to see Akbar marrying since as per history he had quite a lot of wives whom he married for matrimonial alliances. 😆
As for this one, he married Salima only to lend out a helping hand and I think this show will only portray their relationship as a very cordial and formal one unlike those with Ruqaiya or Jodha

Yes, he will marry Salima. But I don't think they will have a romantic relationship, so lets not worry.

May be it has been happened in the History but still it doesn't feel logical and considerable to me.

Yes totally feel the same way.

If this was a story only about akbar then I would agree with some of the other statements, but this is supposed to be a love story about Jodha / Akbar. Isn't the point of this tv serial supposed to be the love story, not about Akbars conquests and his glory as a ruler...If that is what this is going to turn into, then down the road I will probably stop watching..but as it seems like its going ot stay a love story I hope they don't have Jalal marry Salima...
