Aye..mere watan ke logo..

zara ankh mein bhar lo paani..

jo shaeed hunye hain unke..

zara yaad karo kurbani..

We are in the 60th year of our Republic Day..have we ever thought what we have gained and what we have lost in the past 60 years..where..India has shinned and where it lagged behind..what is the reason for all..

As we heard the India-Poised campaign of Amitabh Bachchan that. We have two India one who follows and one who leads. But Slowly the other pessimistic. Sarcastic India is joining the youthful, spirited India..

And the seeds of this thought process had been sown long before. When we were fighting for our Indepedence..Leaders like. Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Lal Nehru, Lal Bahadur Shastri ,Subhash chandra Bose and many other gave us slogans.. That could boil the blood of the oldest and youngest. the words which used to give us a courage to fight for our Rights. Our Independence. our Integrity. are still very significant in today's era.

As for me one Slogan always inspired me. and it still holds the importance by Bal Ganga Dhar Tilak.. "Freedom is my Birth Right". as in today there are many countries fighting for this and are still being deprived of this very birth right and many others Slogans like..Tum mujhe Khoon do Main tumhe Azaadi dungaor just Two words which helped to uproot Britshers from our Homeland by Father of our Nation Mahatma Gandhi." QUIT INDIA in 1942

So share your "Favorite Slogans" or "Quote of your Favorite Leaders" and tell us why it is so special cause in today's Fast paced computerized Life we forgot about those slogans which directly or indirectly influenced our past. Influencing our today ..and will be influencing our FUTURE..

chodo kal ke batein.

kal ke baat purani

naye daur mein likhenge

mil kar nayee kahanni

hum hindustaani..hum hindustaani..

"Long years ago we made a tryst with destiny, and now the time comes when we shall redeem our pledge...At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom. A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history, when we step out from the old to the new, when an age ends, and when the soul of a nation, long suppressed, finds utterance"

Jawaharlal Nehru being sworn the 1st Prime Minister of India at Midnight of August 14th 1947

Sarojini Naidu comments on Bristish Governement.

Letter to Gandhi: 'It is in vain to expect justice from a race so blind and drunk with the arrogance of power'

Letter to Gopal Krishna Gokhale: 'We want a new breed of men before
India can be cleansed of her disease'

Letter to Nehru: 'You were predestined to a splendid martyrdom'

Letter to Nehru: 'Remember Liberty is the ultimate crown of all your sacrifice'

Letter to Tagore: 'Your service is unique and inimitable and India in her day of peace will remember and cherish'

Lala Lajpat Rai on Simon Comission: 'Every blow aimed at me is a nail in the coffin of British imperialism'

Gandhi at Salt Satyagraha: 'With this, I am shaking the foundations of the British Empire'
