Mohan takes Megha into their room. Mohan sighs that finally they are all together. Megha just smiles. Mohan tells that everyone is so happy so they should have a celebration of their own and tries to be romantic with Megha. Megha again starts up with fixing the room by picking up RJ's clothes and toys. Mohan remarks that the problem with all the parents that they stop thinking about themselves. Megha remarks that parents never stop thinking about their own children. Mohan says that she is right and shows a 'pen' to her saying that her mother gifted it to him when he had expressed his desire to become a journalist and he wants to give it to Nanhi. Mohan shows the books related to cricket that he had collected thinking that Addu would grow up to become a cricketer. Megha feels Mohan's sadness. Mohan finally shows Megha a closet full of RJ's dresses and hair clips. Mohan tells that he is tired of trying to care of RJ perfectly, its time he retires and leaves everything in Megha's hand. Mohan gives the keys to Megha. Megha can sense the sadness in Mohan so she taunts back that Mohan is very smart to leave all his responsibilities to her and asks what does Mohan think he will do. Mohan switches off the lights and holds Megha saying that he will be a little selfish from now on. Megha and Mohan share an intimate moment as a romantic song plays in the background.
Next day, the Vyases and Bhatnagars are all seated in a bus going to a picnic. Nanhi starts an 'antakshari' competition by singing "Maine Pyaar Tumhi se Kiya hai". Beera sings next- "Ramaiya Vastavaiya". Megha sings next. Mohan then sings, "koi na koi chahiye pyaar karne waala". Addu isn't very pleased with Megha and Mohan's eye talks. RJ tries to move ahead but fumbles in her steps but Addu catches hold of her and gently tells her to take care of herself. Mohan is pleased to see this and remarks to Addu that his 'Piddi' has indeed grown. Addu is annoyed. Megha moves to the back of the bus to join Mohan. megha feeds chips of Mohan where Mohan playfully tries to bite her finger and both share a laugh. Megha and Mohan hold hands. Mohan asks Megha if she is happy. megha replies that she hasn't been this happy in a long time, she doesn't need anything more than having Mohan and her family beside her, all happy. Megha tells that she fears that she might jinx her happiness herself. Mohan takes some of Megha's kajal and puts it on Megha(a way of doing 'touchwood'). Mohan tells that if they remain sitting at the back seat they might be excluded from the picnic. Just then, everyone starts "Na Bole Tum Naa maine Kuch Kaha" song and Meghan join in.
As soon as they reach the picnic spot, they start the toss which Mohan wins and there goes on fun banter between Mohan and Renu. Jeeji Bua dons the role of the commentator. Mohan takes his guard to bat and Beera takes the ball. Beera bowls the first delivery and Mohan strikes a boundary. Addu grimaces seeing Mohan. The next ball, Mohan almost gets out. Before the next delivery is bowled Addu comes upto Mohan and points that Mohan's lawyer has arrived. Mohan leaves the bat but RJ stops him questioning where is going. Mohan tries to pacify her that he has a small task and he will return soon. Nanhi also stops Mohan and forbids him from leaving halfway when so much fun is going on. Mohan tries to make Nanhi understand. Nanhi tells Addu to go and finish the work as the work is related to him. Everyone coaxes Mohan not to leave. Mohan makes Megha the captain of his team and tells that Megha will take the leadership when he isn't here(pun intended). Megha happily dons the captain's hat and tells Mohan not to worry as she will hold his team together in his absence. Renu tells that Bhatnagar has the habit of destroying all the fun when its at its zenith. Mohan smiles at the remark. Renu sighs that she won't be able to fight or bicker with anyone else as everyone is her own and Mohan was the only outsider so, she will miss the bickering. Mohan in his trademark style tells that he isn't going to die or something but will return soon. Addu rolls his eyes at Mohan's statements. Addu and Mohan leave others resuming the play.
The lawyer asks Mohan what the rush is that he called him to meet during a family picnic. Mohan tells that the matter should be addressed. Mohan signs the papers that the lawyers had gotten inducing a sly smile from Addu. The lawyer tells that Mohan is lucky to have a son like Addu who is fully committed to take up all his responsibilties. Mohan replies that he is merely transferring his property and loads of tensions to his son. Addu smirks at the statement. The lawyer remarks that Mohan is lucky as his whole family is with him and they are all so happy. Mohan gives a look at the happy picture everyone involved in the game were giving and smiles to himself a sense of inevitability surrounding him. The lawyer takes his leave. Addu soon hands over a backpack to Mohan and tells that its time that Mohan leaves too and fulfill his promise.
Flashbacks of Mohan and Addu's conversation is shown. Addu tells that he wants to come back to his home but he wants some things in exchange. Mohan vows that he will do anything give Megha her son back. Addu tells that all his activities have been based on his hatred towards Mohan so he demands that Mohan walks out of their lives and only then would he return and completely cleanse himself from the all the criminal activities he has been involved in. Mohan is dumbfounded. Addu remarks that he knew that Mohan is the one to talk big but he cannot do anything to give Megha her happiness back. Mohan replies that he has no idea what he could for Megha.
The flashback ends. Mohan tells Addu that he could do anything for Megha looking at the smiling Megha who is oblivious to the impending separation. Mohan tells Addu that he shoulders all the reponsibilities and he expects him to be dutiful and take care of everyone. Addu shoots back that he shouldn't worry about the family as he is way more capable of keeping them happy and once Mohan is gone, everyone is going to forget him in a jiffy. Mohan is pinched by Addu's statement. Mohan throws a final look at his happy family and lingers some time on Megha before he hardens himsef and turns his back on them and walks away with his backpack, his heartache fully displayed on his face as Addu stands contented.
Precap: RJ and Megha intercept Mohan's path and ask where is he escaping to. Mohan is dumbfounded as he is caught. Megha taunts Addu that he is standing and isn't stopping Mohan.
PS: It was nice to hear everyone singing today especially Kunal and Akanksha. KKK's performance was outstanding in the whole episode.
