hello my fellow VD Holics...how are you guys? unhappy...well turn that frown upside down because i got just the thing for you...what better way to usher vrinda dawda into her era of success than with a smile...smiley smiley please...no ..alright smile after reading this.. but first a few quotes for you...
dont smile because its over but smile because it happened...(doesnt that make you happy..though we all can agree that this is a big mess without it we would have never discovered a gem)
success is never final, failure is never fatal , it is the courage that counts...( we all know how much courage this VD has..success comes with courage ..a success without courage is only temporary if you know what i am taling about * hint: starts with P and ends with alki...)
So in short dont worry.be happy and i know you dont want to hear my leacture so without further ado here is what i think really captures the true essence of happiness..vrinda isshtyle
true happiness
what is true happiness? is it a mental state? or is it a spiritual realm, only handed over to those who are deamed worthy by a more powerful being? or maybe just a myth to get people through their lives. well when vrinda was a child..she was rather inquisitive...she let her thoughts wander off at any time of day and this topic entered her head more than once. she was often chided for thinking too much...she grew up encasing this thoughts within her and now well lets just say that she isnt a child anymore..

she engulfed her slim frame in her own glitter smeared hands...she was told that it was used so that she could stand out on tv...she didnt mind actually ..she liked things that were shiny...she examined her hands with a kidish glow in her eyes and a gigantic smeared smile smeared all over her face.
"todays the day.."
she said in an animated voice...more like chanted in an animated voice. the air coditioner was freezing so she resorted to any warmth she could find..smiles included... she could barely sleep the entire night...it was like a beautiful dream that came with those puffy visions. her hair was done and the slightest movements could eradicate all of her mom's hardwork..it was the only thing which kept her from jumpng around like a maniac...that and of course her saree which could have weighed more than her...and to think this all started when she thought that it was the end of her career...

when she got the news from palki that she could not continue as taani well, she was devastated...well it was a natural reaction. al her hardwork was being snatched from her in an instant but most of all she felt for her fans who would be equally if not more upset and angered...she hid her tears as she told her friends about it..it came as quite a shock to them too...but then it hit her...she cant give up..no way in hell was she about to give up..she kicked of all her thoughts of being unwanted or replacable and replaced them with thoughts of her fans love and their support..she cant let them down..never..she did this once and she will do it again...she performed her last few scenes with conviction and determination to do the darn best she has ever done and she succeded...
"well done vrinda...i will miss you..."
she looked at palki and tried her best to give her a sustaining and believable smile but couldnt say if it really worked...with that she hurried off into her vanity van and yanked out her cell phone...her only regret will be that she couldnt inform her fans that she was leaving...she sighed as she dialed a number and waited for the answer...
"hi..ya..i am caling regarding that offer you made me..yes i am available..."

after that there was no turning back...she saw the amount of chaos created by her fans and was glad at first but soon she felt kinda guilty..by her one command the chaos was halted...she loved her fans even more...soon headlines were filled with the news like vrinda leaving dil dosti dance...not so later headlines flashed again..this time with low trps ..d3 finaly over...and yet again headlines conveyed her success with the headlines ..."vrinda dawda back again with a bang...the few episodes of her new show was an instant success and so were the many after that..some acreditted it to the amazing concept...some to the sizzling hot jodi of vrinda and her co star rahul(fake name) but most to vrindas loyal fanbase and her impeccable acting skils...just into six months of the show it bacame the number 1 tv show on indian televison and soon after was nominated for many awards...there was much hype about how many awards it would actually win..especially if vrinda would win for best actress..after all she has the biggest fanbase which keeps growing as we speak and her huge public appeal but still vrinda knew deep down it wasnt about winning..it was the very fact that she finally made it..after her monstrous struggle and bearing of pain she finally made a place for her self..unbeknownst to vrinda the true hype was if she would mention d3 if and when she wins in her speech...unlike many actresses who would get an acting coach for the recpetion of awards she was planning on improvisation..you know if she won...

she was accustumed to the constant falshing of camera lights but that day it felt different,..almost serene..she flashed her beautiful smile which gave tough competition to the cameras..screaming fans asking for an autograph as much as she would loved to oblige she was told to move on as others walked the red carpet tryng to garner the same amount of attention she did...
she was ushered to the front of the rows which was reserved for VIPs ..well this was her first awards ceremony after d3 so she wasnt used to this kind of special attention where it would be a miracle to see her face on televison for10 seconds...she was deep in thoughts as her co star rahul sat beside her..
"hey gorgeoous.looking a little too gorgeous tonight.."
taani let out a long sarcastic laugh to empahsize how stupid that line was..he was always that way..flirtacious.. but both knew that they were just really great friends.
":ya ya i know..it was lame but still i got some news for ya..."
"news? good or bad?"
"you decide...d3 team is performing in the awards tonight.
her heart skipped a beat..she was just dumbfounded..
"maybe this is a good time to shove your popularity in their faces?"
taani was startled for a while...she considered this too but for a fleeting moment.
"no ways rahul..if i did that now it would mean that i worked so hard just to show them..but thats not true ..i worked hard for myself and i am proud of it.."
rahul smiled at this ..
" wow vrinda the beauty with heart...i think i am falling for you.."
he put his hands on his chest dramatically as vrinda laughed as his gesture..he knew he was doing this to cheer her up but still that fleeting momet where she considered it scared her.

many awards were announced ..many were won by her team including best jodi, best show, most popular jodi and most popular show...rahul even won best debutant...a smile beaming from his face..she was super happy for him..right now she was holding two awards in her hand for the best jodis..rahul was finding it hard to balance all of them while vrinda laughed at his attempt...soon it was time to annouce best actor and best actress...but before that it was time for d3 teams performance...vrinda found herself clapping energetically for them ..it was nostalgic.no matter what they did..they did give her some happy times and she was happy that they still has careers..the performance was over and she gave them a standing applause..she was visible to them clearly as she was the only one standing..soon she noticed his and sat down but not before offering a huge smile which they returned to her...

soon the best actor was announced and it was time for best actress...
"and the best actor female is...any guesses?"
vrinda felt her heart race..she loved that adrenaline..like being on a roller coaster...
she could hear a rythimic chearing of her name and an immediate smile bloomed on her face which she tried her best to hide..
"you guessed it! gvive it up for vrinda dawda ladies and gentlemen!"
a huge applause broke through as she sat rooted to her chair..its not like she was expecting any different but the fact that it was really hapening bewildered her. she remained that way till rahul literally forced her to go..she broke into a jog in an effort to reach the stage faster..she grabbed the award from the presenter as she was engulfed in a hug. she stood in front of the mic genuinely over whelmed by all of this..a shush over came the crowd as she stood in front of the podium..she was suprised that she didnt have to do anything to achieve that effect.
" well..i really cannot belive this.."
she felt her voice breaking half way but she willed her self continue..
" i would like to thank my parents for always supporting me...mmmh...my co star rahul for making me laugh and getting me through tiring days...my friends from d3..."
a sudden reacion was trigered by her last words...murmurs circulated the room as vrinda realized what she said but it was the truth..
"yes my d3 team..because without the show i would have never realized that i could act and what my limitations were..without the hate i got initially would have never discovered my own character and wil and without my leaving i would have never understood the true love of my fans..so thank you d3 team.."
as she said this she could feel everyones attention returning back and the respect intensifying..she lowered her voice to a loud whisper...
"but most of all i would like to thank my fans...without whom i would be nothing...their love brought me here when my own will power wouldnt in fact the thing i drew my strength from was from the fact that they were ALWAYS with me.."
as she said this she realized that her long held back tears were already streaming out..
"thank you all.."
with that she left the stage as everyone got on their feet and gave her an applause...as she got down a little girl tugged at her saree..she looked down at her and smiled at her curiously..
"you are my inspiration."
she left as soon as she came leaving vrinda in a state of pure bliss..the innocence in her eyes brought out a few missing peices to the puzzle of happiness...the true meaning of happiness is giving others happiness..realizing that your action made someone happy and knowing that you inspired someone is the best feeling of all..better than winning..better than popularity...truly making others smile is the true meaning of happiness..and vrinda dawda did just that everywhere she went..she was truly happy because she discovered the true meaning of hapiness...
