Bhabhi back from Canada!

Dolly Sohi, the small screen's Bhabhi, is back in Mumbai. The actress, who relocated to Canada post her marriage to software engineer Avneet Dhanowa, is visiting the city for the first time since shifting base last year.

"The potholes are still around; In fact, I think I'm seeing more of them now," says Dolly, who arrived from Canada on Tuesday. She plans to chill in the city for a good three months.

Big surprise!

"I gave my parents a big surprise. They didn't even know I was arriving. My sister Amandeep and brother Surendra told them that one of my in-laws was coming down so they had to go to the airport to receive them. When my parents saw me, they were thrilled."

She has been reconnecting with her Bhabhi unit folks since her return now. "I just spoke to Raymon Singh (Sunaina of Bhabhi). I will be visiting the Bhabhi sets soon."

She had been planning a trip to Mumbai for a while "but there were certain things that happened which put off my visit for a while."

Deep loss

The actress got pregnant last year, but her joy was shortlived when she lost her baby in her fifth month. "It was very traumatic. My pregnancy was going okay and then one fine day I don't know what happened. I think I overexerted myself that day. I developed labour pains and delivered. As it was only four and a half months, I lost my baby."

As a result Dolly went into depression. "I would cry the entire day. For over a month, I felt like my world had ended. Eventually, I overcome it."

Now healthy and raring to go, the actress will also be visiting her hometown, Amritsar. "My brother is getting married in March, so that was one more reason to be here."

As she will be in Mumbai for at least three months, is she looking forward to some acting offers? Cameos perhaps? "Maybe. Let's see what happens. My sister Amandeep too has started acting."
