Usha Nadkarni is known for his straight forward attitude in this industry. The veteran actress made headline for quitting Pavitra Rishta sometimes back however Ekta Kapoor re-stored her in Pavitra Rishta with a request, claimed Usha.


"Firstly I don't believe that Ekta is not a soft spoken and down to earth person. She is very sweet indeed. For the first time I went to Ektaji's office and I was mesmerized with the set up. There were statues and pictures of god everywhere your vision goes. Her office I felt was likes a Mandir (Temple)," observed Usha.

She further continues, "I even asked her (Ekta) whether I should take off my shoes and enter the office because I felt it is some holy place. But she respectfully said that I don't have to take off my shoes and enter."

On being asked why for the first time the actress had visited the office in 5 years of association with Pavitra Rishta, she spontaneously quipped, "Because I usually don't have complains and I am not into dirty politics."

Usha Nadkarni is now seen in Colors' Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal along with Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta in a two contrast characters.
