Indian audience prefers an antagonist as black, not grey or white/gold plated. That's the reason Sultan's character was kicked back to the channel with love.

Bhai was never grey he was either white or Black . Writers did not do great job with Sultan character.

Ah Indian audience has accepted grey characters i.e RK.

Sultan's character is poorly sketched and hence rejected.
