PART 60

Geet got shocked hearing maan's words. She didn't know what to say and feel at the moment. Her entire world, entire happiness seemed to crash at the very moment. She felt so selfish to be happy in her world, when he was so tensed and worried. How come she didn't saw that helplessness, that pain in his fake laugh?

Her throat felt choked and heart felt heavy with the tears of being so incompetent in the relation which matter the most in her life at present. She closed her eyes tightly to control the tears which felt heavy on her lashes.

Not wanting to make any drama in front of the people, she silently moved to the table and settled beside maan. Maan glanced at geet and saw the restlessness in her eyes, and tense posture of her proved that something is surely wrong.

It was evening anyway and sun was about to settle. It had been 2 hours since they sat in that parlour and sam was still with them. "lagta hai she isn't happy with sam's presence now, and waise bhi I had promised her an hour, ab to pakka naraaz ho gyi hogi ye" he thought as he glanced at her. He cleared his throat to gain her attention and asked, "what happened geet???"

Geet got startled with his sudden call and glanced at him and just nodded her head in no. it was being so difficult for her to control herself in front of them, when her entire self just wanted to ask and shout on him, why he didn't told her about his problem??? Why she still lacks in front of him after doing so much??? Why she is still a "bacchii" for him??? Why couldn't he just'. So many questions and no answers!!!

A sob escaped her lips breaking her control and both maan and sam got conscious of that. "geet" maan said but before he could ask anything else, she stood up and said, "I am not feeling well, am going home. Aap dono enjoy karo" but before she could go away, maan held her hand and stood up saying they are leaving too.

Whole way maan asked her what is wrong but she just sat zipping her mouth. Even sam was worried and tried to confront her but geet just gave her a cold glare making her retreat. Both were getting confused because of her behaviour and thought it was better to not create a scene in public.

As they reached their flat, maan stopped her and strictly asked her, "ye kya laga rakha hai tumne. Just tell me straight away kya problem hai" he was getting anxious with her silence, however patient he may be in their home, but he never approved such public nonsense and that just came out as anger on her.

The sob she was trying to control all way got released seeing his outburst. Here she was so vulnerable and his sudden anger just scared her at once. He moved his hand through his hair as he tried to calm himself. Her tears were his weakness, and here she was sobbing so miserably, he didn't knew what to do???

"geet please tell me kya hua bachaa" he asked softly this time but then his calling her "bachaa" again aggregated her misery making her cry more badly. Seeing geet cry so badly maan just stepped back at once. Seeing maan so helpless, sam thought to confront her and said going near geet, "kya hua geet bolo, we will help you if there is anything wrong"

"don't you dare to come near me" she howled as she stepped away pushing away the hand sam stretched toward her. Maan didn't like the way she treated sameera when here she was confronting her. "why you just keep interfering in our matter, don't you have anything else to look into" taunted geet as she looked at sam with pure hatred.

"geet behave, she is older than you" maan shouted, totally loosing now hearing her insult his best friend without any fault of hers. "aap to bolo hi mat mujhse" she said looking at maan and then turning to sam said, "can you please just leave right now" geet said shouting at sam and showing door with her finger.

Sam felt so much insulted with geet's words and taking her purse, she was about to go away but stopped hearing maan's words, "sam please don't mind her words. Ye pagal ho gyi hai aaj, kuch bhi bol rhi hai. I am sorry on her behalf" he said trying to do some damage control but then his words just made geet feel so distanced and she simply said, "ha mai to hu hi pagal. You do whatever you wish and if I even react then I am mad. Aap jo chaho chupa lo, par mai kuch bol nhi sakti."

"ye kya bol rhi ho" he snapped at her.

"don't try to act innocent maan. Aap ko kya laga I will never know about the condition of our house, your professional problems. I thought you will tell me but no, mujhe chod ke everyone knows. Probably I am not much important to learn about all this ha'"

He got alarmed knowing she is totally aware of everything and then glanced at sam who was shocked too. Ok, agreed she is angry on that but then insulting a woman who is ten years older than her is no way acceptable. "mana you are angry on me, but then why are you involving sam in it' har waqt bachkani harqat karti rehti ho tum geet" he finally let out his frustration on her. If the tension of his issues weren't enough, now her reaction is an add-on on them.

"meri harqate hi to bachkani hai. Aapko to sirf unki bate pasand ati ahi aur meri har baat pe gussa. Tabhi apne unhe bataya apni muskilo ke bare me aur mujhe andhere me rakha. Ya ye kyu nhi kehte ki wo aapke liye mujhse bhi jyada mayne rakhti hai!!!" geet said as she looked at him accusingly, as I he had cheated her in this relation. When she had been like an open book in front of him, why cant she expect the same transparency from him too??? Was it too much to ask for???

Maan just lost himself hearing her accusations as he didn't even realized when he raised his hand on her. His already clouded mind got blocked due to all the commotion and he didn't even realized when he raised his hand suddenly in air and if it would have been sam's loud gasp, he would have ended committing the mistake he would have regretted his entire life.

He looked at his hand in mid-air raised at her and her scared face, as she covered her face with her arm to protect herself from the hit. He somehow dropped his hand and looked away from 17 year old teen whose world seemed to stop seeing his raised hand. She felt her small heart broke into millions of pieces with a loud bang.

Not able to look at her, maan turned his back to geet and covered his face with his palms to calm himself. Sam just stood in shock as she wondered what would be geet's reaction while geet just kept looking at his back that was facing her with tear stained face. She just couldn't understand why he just cant think her as much important as he considers sam. Trying to control herself, she closed her eyes and ran out of the door.

It was the loud bang of door which made maan look around and he got shocked when sam told she had gone outside. He looked at the time, 8:00 o' clock. It was so dark and that stupid girl ran out all alone in a city like Mumbai. His breath stopped as he lifted his bike keys and ran behind her to look for her but she was already out of his sight. "kyu karti ho har waqt itna mazboor mujhko" he said looking at no one in particular as he made his way to search for her.

I know many must be angry on geet and totally bashing her for her reaction, but to understand her mental condition, her dilemma you have to wait for next part guys.

first of all bada waala thank you for updating today itself... meine sach main expect nahi kiya tha... just took a chance... and see u proved to be a darling sweetypie...

last maan bday part was on my bday and this time maan bday came on my sizzling day... kuch tho connection hai... haina... i feel gr 8 btw...

i had expected geets reaction like this... the feeling that maan is in trouble all the time and she being near to him too was not able to feel it... and then the fact that maan actually hided this from her... she may be thinking that maan still treats her as a bachha and not as a partner where by she is trying her level best ... and on top of it sameera... how can she control...

but yes i hope sameera would have left from there soon... so that all would have happened in between them... her presence triggered geet and made her feel she is less important to maan where as maan couldnt take sameeras insult...

now am just thinking whats going on in ur brain neha... how u r going to solve all this... first of all geet being so much angry and hurt ... and later their finanicial problem...

aise stage par aakar story ko rok diya and u expect me not to crib for the next update... not at all fair...

Phew,what a stormy update.

Being a teenager,the way Geet felt is not totally wrong,but the thing is that she is not trying to understand Maan's situation too.
Then the involvement of Sam has worsened the matter.

Now Geet is out and Maan searching for her.Hope he finds her soon.

Geet very much hurt...maan even raised.his hand.on.her...
