Chapter 1

The magical moment broke with the noise of people around, but it had created a burning sensation in the two. His eyes were big and drowning and were still lingering on the feared creature stood in front of him. He did pity the poor girl more than that he was compelled by an unknown force towards her. Those eyes, was it some sort of an ocean which is pulling me in, what's in them.

He brushed off the feeling which were distracting him and looked at the girl who had nervously moved away and had taken a seat where all the candidates were gathered, he smiled at her and muttered to himself.

She can help me. For Sure!! And the smile was replaced by a smirk.

Why His eyes click onto my face again and again. Why does The breath whooshes out of my body and everything freezes for a second, as though I am looking at him through my soul, zoomed in all the way, the world pausing for that tiny span of time between the opening and closing of the shutter, Of my eyes. I am thinking way too much today, may be because I am worried for maa. God please help me.

Manyata Rai? The receptionist called out her name which brought her out of her trance.

Yes I am Manyata!

Its your turn to go In, the receptionist gave her a wired look, which she thought was a jealous one.

Manyata nervously walked in, clutching onto her files tightly.

Have a seat. One of the employs dressed in a waiter kind of a dress told her. She sat down, her heart racing with the speed of light, it would come out any second, never in her life she was so scared and what short of feelings were aroused in her, were the most questioning part!

He walked in with an attitude to die for. Once again the words were replaced by heart beats. Eyes into eyes, they looked without blinking even once.

Parveez' Udayveer's PA nudged his assistant Khushboo.

Khushboo?

Yes sir?

Have you ever gotten lost in the eyes of the person you love?

Aaa, No sir.I have no Boyfriend and I don't love any one, But why are you asking this from me?

You feel like there is something there. He said pointing towards ManVeer, who were in some other world.

She gave a confused look and parveez smiled in return.

They say eyes are the windows to the soul, and now you know why.? He asked?

You can only get lost in the eyes of the one you Love .You feel like the whole world just disappears around you. You feel like you know every thing about them and what they are all about. Their flaws, weakness and the pain they might have been through. He replied still observing the Two!!

Really? I mean is there something which exists between them, what if its there last meeting and they never see each other again?

Don't worry sweet heart, its not the last one. But the beginning of a new Start. He winked at her.

Hmmm. She smiled with a blush.

The long lost people were finally back to senses, Thanks to khushboo who stumbled with a chair.

So, Miss Rai why do you want this job?

She was again lost in his deep voice. It had a royal touch in it.

Miss Rai?

She came back to her senses, yes?

Udayveer smiled, she has a very sweet voice. Well Miss Rai, guess you didn't hear me.

I am sorry, acc,…t Hicup* Manyata was so embarrassed now, while udayveer chuckled looking at her nervousness.

Its okay, relax. Here have some water. He passed her a glass of water, which she took with a sorry look. After five minutes of constant hiccups he got a bit relaxed.

Can we start now? asked udayveer. She nodded in reply.

Okay, Miss Rai, why do you want this job?

I am in need, she gave strait forward reply.

What kind of? Will you elaborate?

Udayveer raised his brows at her, while equally shocked at her STRAIT ATTITUDE.

What sort of an interview is it? Instead of asking my skills and experience you're asking me weird questions.

She smiled and left the room.

Mayata was sitting in a cafe with her friend Naina. Telling about her interview, she was so worried. She wasn't getting any job.

Hey Mannu, please don't cry. Aunty jee will be fine.

I don't think so naina, I am rejected from everywhere, I am least hoped of getting a suitable job and Maa's health is getting worse day by day. Naina tried to calm her, she was equally worried, she couldn't help her because she too belonged to a middle class family.

Ringing of Manyata's phone distracted them, she wiped her tears and answered the call.

Udayveer was relaxing on his chair holding a silver bracelet in his hand, which was Manyata's and it had slipped from her hand, he was looking at it with a spark in his eyes and a smirk plastered his face. Ready for the Bomb I am gonna throw at you WIFEY!!!

She Isn't your Wife yet Love, a female voice got him back from his thoughts.

Bethel!! Exclaimed an excited Udayveer. Hey my Love, I've missed you so much. He hugged her and kissed her.

Ohh!! Udayveer I missed you a lot too. Finally the work is over and we can spend ample time together.

Sure baby. By the way I've got a good news for us. He said with a smirk.

What? What is it? Did she agree with you? Is she ready to marry you? Tell me babay I am suspicious.

Wait sweet heart, she didn't agree yet but she can't even disagree. She'll be forced to do it.

You seem so sure. From where did you find such a garbage? She laughed but only to be lectured by Udayveer.

Shut up Bethel!! How dare you talk like that, what do you know about her? How much she is in need, do you even understand this fact and Hell I am going to use her for my needs. I hate myself for doing so. He abruptly got up from the chair and clenched his fists, to calm his nerves. Bethel please leave me alone for a while. He marched to the window. God knows why was he got so irritated, and the most irritating fact was he had silent tears in his eyes. He didn't like how bethel insulted Manyata, she was just a stranger to him, yet, he was attracted. Attracted to her innocence, her deep captivating eyes. How much she was I pain and here they were making plans to use her. Stop udayveer!! She is nothing to you, you've never cared for anyone ever, so why now. There are many people like her in the world so let go.

Manyata reached the place where she was called, it was a big 7 star hotel. The guards lead her to the personal suit of there boss Udayveer. Manyata was surprised so see the huge building, and more surprising was the suit, big and was beautifully designed. She was blankly looking at the designs and interior, she was brought back by a sweet voice.

Hello Miss Manyata! Parveez smiled at her warmly. She gave a tiny smile back and greeted him nicely.

She had clutched her files tightly against her chest and had wrapped both her arms around it. She looked like a lost puppy yet so innocent.

You've called me here, she asked meekly.

My Boss, not me. Come I'll take you there.

He lead her through the luxurious rooms of the Pent house, and she watched it open-eyed. Parveez asked her to sit on the sofa and wait for Udayveer to come.

She was waiting for Udayveer, and her stupid heart was racing like anything. She was nervous, she was scared, what would happen? Will she get this job? What will he say to her. She was getting restless now. The thing which frightened her more was him, His eyes. Again the breath taking moment came when he marched in, she kept her eyes down, in order to avoid his gaze, which makes her nervous. He settled down in front of her on the sofa.

I have called you here to make a deal Miss Rai.

What deal? She looked up, with tension visible on her face.

See Miss Rai, as far as I know you really need a job. Right?

She nodded in reply.

Okay, let's make it fast than. Here read these documents and tell me if you agree. He handed her the papers.

After few minutes manyata looked up, at him with disgust, she threw the papers on the table in rage. What? Do you think I am your toy. Keep your deal with you, I am going. She walked out but was stopped by his words.

Dear, you have no other way, udayveer said holding the papers. Your mother is suffering from a Brain Tumor and you need money for her operation, which you don't have plus you're not getting any job, I am afraid anything bad happening Miss Manyata Rai. And if you don't agree with me, I will make sure you get no job. ANYWHERE!!

Tears had flooded her eyes and she was trapped, badly. Manyata had no other choice rather than agreeing with him, he was right, she had no money and her mother was in a critical condition. She came back and sat quietly.

Where do I have to sign?

That's like my girl. Come on sign here. He showed her the places to sign and she quietly obeyed him. She got up to leave.

Where are you going wifey? Won't you like to meet the person, for whom I am getting you into this. She looked at him daze. With that a hot blonde entered the room and sat beside Udayveer.

Meet Bethel, My LOVE. As per the contract you've signed with us, it states that you and I will get married Lawfully in the coming week, and this contract will finish in One year, that means our marriage will finish in one year too. Till then you have to live with me as my wife. After one year is over I will divorce you, and the reason will be unsuccessful marriage. The thing is I and Bethel Love each Other and want to get married, my parents will never agree with it because she is a blonde, and they want me to get married to sweet and simple girl like you. So, the point is that I will marry you, according to my parents will. Then after one year when this contract expires, I will show my parents that we aren't happy together and this arrange marriage has destroyed my life. Then, Then, Then, it's obvious that they will feel bad and will have to agree with my and Bethel's marriage. You see, you're just a cookie in here. What you have to do is just act like my wife.

Bethel got a call so she excused herself and went out leaving the two alone. Manyata was standing like a statue listening to him. Udayveer walked near her, leaving no distance in between. His deep brown pools met her scared ones, they shared a sweet challenging eye-lock. Manyata was feeling a different and weird feeling standing so close to him. Udayveer wiped a few tears which had escaped her eyes.

No tears, WIEFY. I hate to see them in your eyes.
