The fictitious Gokhuldham Cooperative Housing Society of SAB TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (Neela Telefilms) may be an apparently inconspicuous building community in the big city of Mumbai but the activities of its residents have recently made to the headlines of the city's newspapers. After all, its inmates of late boldly exposed the scam of coaching classes who make false claims that the top students of Mumbai have studied in their coaching classes.
Today the cast and crew of the upcoming film Bajatey Raho, are visiting the sets of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah to promote their movie which will be released on 26 July 2013. This is a comedy thriller film directed by Shashant Shah and produced by Sunil A Lulla. It features Tusshar Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Vishakha Singh and Dolly Ahluwalia as the main characters. This happens to be director Shashant Shah's third film, after Dasvidaniya (2008) and Chalo Dilli (2011), both of which starred actor Vinay Pathak as the leads.
Our source informed us that the track of the series will be as follows- the characters of Bajatey Raho will visit Gokhuldham Cooperative Housing Society to congratulate them for exposing a fraudulent coaching centre. In the film Ravi Kishan's character is also a con guy.
Mandar Chandwadkar who plays Aatmaram Tukaram Bhide on the series told us, "Vinay Pathak has visited our sets before. This is for the very first time that I am meeting Vishakha Singh and Tusshar Kapoor though- both of them are very nice human beings. Both our show and their film represent the common man." This episode will be telecast on 22 July 2013.
The Bajatey Raho team will also be arriving on the set of Sony Entertainment Television's Anamika (Trishula Productions) today. Ravi Kishan and Vishaka Singh will enter in a special Mata Ki Chowki sequence to promote their film, Bajatey Raho. The actors will be seen as the business associates of the Saluja family and arrive as guests for the puja. They will also add to the fun by participating in the singing and dancing routine. The audience will see Ravi sharing a light moment with Anamika (Simran Kaur).
Ravi, who plays Sabharwal in the film, will flirt with Anamika and offer her a position in his company lest she wants to leave Jeet's business. The smart chudail Anamika will coyly reply that since he doesn't know who she is in real, all his tricks will fall flat. So it's useless to even try flattering her.
Also reported is that Anamika will be caught in the Mata Ki Chowki at home and even though she will try to escape the puja, the family members will not let her. How will she leave the pious place or will her reality come to the fore? The particular sequence is being shot today and will go on air next week.
