This was the first time that Saraswati Chandra made me cry
Gautam Rode was brilliant in the emotionally charged scene...the shock giving away to the overpowering sense of grief and then guilt on what he had ended up doing. The way he folded his hands in forgiveness was so heartbreaking. You could feel the character's anguish and pain in his eyes and body language! Wonderful, wonderful performance!
And for Kumud...I think all her anger and bitterness melted away the moment she set her eyes on Saras...which make me think, had Saras made it to the wedding on time...would Kumud still have gone ahead with it? I don't think so.
The fact that she was just as emotional and heartbroken as he was, proves that she still loves him to death...of course, the anger would come very soon...when the shock of seeing Saras fades away. But underneath it all, Kumud is still hopelessly in love with him and the fact that her marriage is such a farce, will only intensify her emotions for Saras!
If the makers had to show something unique, they could have shown Pramad as being a closet gay...that way everyone could have been happy!😆
