~Part Three~
"Woohoo!" cheered Ayaan, along with the rest of the basketball team. They had won their game. Wait. Where's Asad?
Ayaan ran through the stampeding crowd, calling Asad's name. Where the heck did he disappear? And then he found him, in the gym locker room.
Asad was all dressed up in a suit and tie, spraying on cologne.
"Asad?"
"Hey," he looked up.
"What are you doing? Does this have something to do with Zoya?" asked Ayaan, raising an eyebrow. Of course it does.
"No..." started Asad, but his faint blush and tiny smile gave him away.
"Okay, I promised Zoya I would go to her art competition after the game." He spilled the beans.
"Wait, but what about the celebration party?" asked Ayaan.
"I'm skipping it," replied Asad. "Gotta go!" And with that, he bolted out the door.
Ayaan shook his head. Someone's crazy in love, huh?

Asad ran as fast as he could into the building. Today, of all days, there had to be horrible traffic.
He pushed his way through the huge wall of people, and was able to see Zoya, standing in the center of the crowd. There was a shiny, gold medal around her neck, but it was nowhere near as dazzling her smile. She was holding a certificate.
As the people began to file out, Asad stood and gazed at Zoya, admiringly. She wore a long, pale pink dress, with lacy short sleeves. The dress had a sash around it, with a matching pink bow. Her long hair was down, and her bangs framed her beautiful face. Her hair was held by a pink headband with a pretty bow on it, identical to the one on her dress. She still had her silver bangles, with matching long dangly earrings and a necklace.
She wore minimal makeup. Her feet were encased in pale pink ballet flats, with bows on them. Zoya looked like the epitome of innocence. Just gorgeous, Asad breathed.
Feeling eyes on her, Zoya turned. Her face lit up when she realized who is was. Asad.
"Asad!" she squealed, running right into his arms. He took her in for a hug.
"Hey, cutie," whispered a smiling Asad, letting her warmth take over his senses.
"I did it! I won the scholarship," she gushed. "Thank you so much for your help."
"I knew you could. I'm so proud of you," he replied. Pulling out of the hug slightly, he rested his forehead against hers, keeping their arms wrapped around each other. "You're the most amazing and beautiful girl I know."
Zoya looked away, blushing furiously. Allah miya, what's wrong with me? Her face turned the same color as her dress, and she bit her lip. So adorable, thought Asad.
Asad nudged her, to look up into his eyes. He took a deep breath.
"I love you, Zoya," Asad whispered, causing Zoya's eyes to widen in shock. Allah miya!
Both wanted to do a happy dance. Asad, for being able to say the three words, and Zoya, for hearing the three words dedicated to her.
"I love you too," she whispered back, smiling. "But, the university is in New York. I have to leave." Her smile faded, and her chocolate eyes bubbled up with fresh tears.
"Shhh..." murmured Asad soothingly. He smiled, wiping away her tears that flowed down in rivers. "I have a surprise for you."
Zoya looked up, her eyebrows furrowed and her soft pink lips in a cute pout. Her big brown eyes showed confusion. What's he up to?
"I got a scholarship, too," Asad began. "Not at the same university, but another one in New York. It's really close to yours. We can see each other, whenever."
"Yay!" Zoya squealed in sheer happiness, a big smile adorning her beautiful features. She grabbed Asad into another tight, warm hug.
After a short while, Asad let go.
"I have one more surprise for you," he murmured into her ear, a mischievous twinkle in his eyes. His warm breath sent tingles down Zoya's spine.
"What?" Zoya pouted adorably.
Untangling himself from her grip, Asad bent down on one knee, pulling a red rose out of nowhere. He held the rose out to her.
Zoya gasped. Is he doing what I think he's doing?
"Zoya Farooqui, will you be my date to the Valentine's Day Dance?" asked a nervous, smiling Asad.
"Eeep!" she squealed again, throwing her arms around his neck. He lifted her up and spun her around, like he had done before.
Placing her back down on the ground gently, Asad tucked the red rose behind her ear, and kissed her cheek.
He moved closer, and pressed his lips against Zoya's soft ones. Both felt the sparks course through their bodies, into the sweetest and most magical kiss ever.
They both let go, breathless.
After that, the two walked out of the building together, arm-in-arm.
~The End.~
