Part 17-It's Destiny
Arnav stirred from his sleep as he felt a hesitant tug on his shoulder, shaking it, and then he heard the voice,
"Suniye, please uth jaaiye (Listen please wake up)" He smiled in his sleep as soon the words reached his ears
This was indeed Khushi, how he always wanted to wake up like this by her shying away
He slowly opened his eyes and looked at her who was sitting on the same couch he was sleeping
"Good Morning" He spoke as he find her ready for the university, She has worn the same red sari which she wore on the dinner
"Good Morning" She tucked the lock of her hairs behind her ear and was about to get up when he stopped her holding her hand
"Keep sitting, you should not stand for long" He take out his hand as quickly as he brought it to hold her
"How did you shower Khushi?" Arnav asked sitting up with the support of his elbows
"Lavanya is here if you're forgetting, she helped me" She replied and Arnav nodded understandingly
"Ok now please get ready fast and wake Mayank also he should al …." Before she could complete Arnav jumped off the couch taking a cushion with him and almost ran to the bedroom before yelling,
"WAKE UP MAYANK, LAZY BUM" Arnav throwing the cushion at Mayank disappeared behind the door, and Khushi who was wondering what he was doing got it the next moment when Mayank wake up and getting up he gritted his teeth
"NO Arnav you can't do this to me"
"What happened?" Khushi asked Mayank to which he glared her
"You did this Khushi, you wake him up before me… well I can't blame you, you are doing your duty if being good wife" She doesn't know from where this blush came to her cheeks every time she was linked to him
"But to tell you something, don't ever allow Arnav to use the bathroom first, I am telling you he'll spend whole day in there and you will remain there keep waiting for him"
"What?" Khushi felt a bit awkward as Mayank told her this
"But … but he didn't take long, I …. I mean he …." Shying Khushi failed to speak anything and Mayank laughed at it leaving Khushi confused
"Now what?"
"You know Khushi you are really cute, I was just teasing you, it was just we I mean Rohit, Arnav and I every day fight who will go to the bathroom first, so we made turns as to who use it first and today was mine but you give it to Arnav"
"I am sorry" Mayank again smiled at how cutely she truly said it lowering her head
"It was before Khushi, now when you are here I am sure we will learn to be more civilized than before"
And for the first time Khushi smiled by her heart

Now the problem was how to go the university. Mayank has his bike while Arnav's car was taken away by his father, he can't take Khushi at local in this condition, he can't afford the cab either
He helplessly sighed and then spoke,
"Umm Khushi and I'll take cab" To which Mayank rolled his eyes
"No you're not, you guys are taking my bike and that's final no arguments" Mayank completed quickly as he saw Arnav opening his mouth to say something
"N … no he is right we'll take cab" Khushi saod looking at Arnav who smiled as she understood him that he don't want to take favor from his friend in this matter
"Did you hear properly Khushi I said no arguments" Mayank retorted
Arnav and Khushi chose to keep quiet but when they moved down the parking Khushi gulped in fear seeing the bike
"I … I've never been on the bike, I am afraid" She whispered in Arnav's ear and he smiled seeing her playing with her fingers in nervousness
"Just hold on to me and you'll be ok, trust me" Taking her hand in his Arnav give it a squeeze and Khushi smiled
Hesitantly sitting behind Arnav he clutched his shoulders tightly and closed her eyes
"Please ride it slowly" Arnav started the bike and rode away

As they reached university Arnav asked Khushi to move in while he park the bike
"No, I … I can't go alone" Arnav sighed and then parked the bike taking her hand he moved in with her
She was right, everyone was staring them like they had seen some ghosts, some gazes were of admiration, some are envious
"She is with Arnav"
"She does not deserve him"
"They are looking so cute together"
"Cute huhh she is looking horrible in her middle class attire"
Khushi's eyes filled with tears hearing all this. She knew she is not good looking or beautiful like many of the other girls but is this all that matters! People can't understand ever what she's gone through to be with Arnav, at the cost of her family
Arnav on the other hand surprisingly controlled his temper as he knew she would never like to create a scene because of it so he silently taking her hand moved to the Dean's office as they have to explain the reason of Khushi's absence so that he can allow her to give the exams
