can someone explain some of the analogy that pia gave in tonite's Canadian epi??

Tonite was about how bani stays in WM cuz of massi.. the next day.. when pia comes to the WM and rano stops her. i do not understand pia one bit here.. someone enlighten me..

she says that when an animal is drowning with her young.. if the water is above the mother's head she will step over her own child in order to survive..

hmm... what did she mean by that.. that she will kill her own child in order to save herself? that she doesn't care that she killed her own sister as long as she survive?? i mean if the question was about her child and getting it's right then where the question of her survival come..

another question.. why was pia's expression indifferent when rano told her that bani lost her child cuz she was trying to save Mr. Walia?? doesn't the woman have any feeling or emotions??

and i swear.. if she one more time says that no one understands her pain.. i am going to show her what real pain is.,. what pain.. the pain of losing her husband that she left or her child (which one.. the one she aborted or "mr walia's) that she got when she almost rapped jai? what is she talking about..

I do not understand what she is talking about.i understand that during the ONS fiasco she did not know taht bani loved jai a lot. But wahts her excuse when bani and even after that jai told her that she should leave them and start her life.
Why did she not leave Jai Walia.
