Misti,
All of your points are good. First, besides that ad they also showed Rubina in that Zee poster as somebody just posted it today. While not showing Divya in the show, they keep on trying to show her as the one promoting the show. Just when they took out Divya from the show, they sent her to Indore. Then last week when she was not in MS, they brought that article talking about Rubina's fashion line which she actually started few months ago. But then there was a big quote of hers about the show. So there is some business strategy going on here which to me doesn't make sense. But I want to see how well they succeed from an analytical point of view.
The second point is about whitewashing of Raj and glorification of Sarita. So far the more explanations they have given to show Raj and Sarita's viewpoints, the more they have come across as very self-absorbed characters for whom their interests come first. For Raj, it is his ego, his guilt or his love or his vow or goals. For Sarita, her sole goal to prove to Raj is her worthiness as her world revolves around him. She wants him to notice her and appreciate her. She always wanted to do that. So when they bring in parents to illustrate her devotion to Raj, she instead came across as somebody who would go to the extent of disrespecting her parents and kicking them out of her life to prove her sacrificial nature to Raj.
Then finally, the circles remain even if everything goes away - the logic, characterization, characters etc.

Om shantih!

😆aimf, thanks. We should all demand copyrights because they are picking and choosing different ideas from different people. But I would settle for a logical story and good characters.

Angie thats also what I am interested in...The way the channel is dealing with Rubina is not making sense to me. It can be that ZEE is using Rubina to tempt a certain section of the audience but for how long are they going to do this? Surely they are not planning to go on using Rubina for promotional purposes and not give her a strong role in the story? Zee is a big business house and they should know that this cannot go on forever. If it is for a short term then they might be able to get away with it but will they be able to get away with this forever? That is why things are not make sense for me from a business and analytical POV and I am also interested to know what exactly is going on in the background.

The second point is about whitewashing of Raj and glorification of Sarita. So far the more explanations they have given to show Raj and Sarita's viewpoints, the more they have come across as very self-absorbed characters for whom their interests come first. Yes that is why I find them self serving. Yes to all here...also I think Raj might feel more comfortable with Sarita than with Divya...because Divya usually challenges him while Sarita does not. Divya has the ability to drag him out of his safe zone while Sarita pampers him and lets him be in his safe zone. From what has been shown regarding Raj, he does not like being challenged.
Then finally, the circles remain even if everything goes away - the logic, characterization, characters etc. Oh Yes Angie...my sweet and cute circles will always be there to keep me company...in case I don't get lonely.😉

Friends, you are still watching this?!
Honestly i am not seeing head or tail to this story...feel very sorry for Rubina for being used like this! I get it its for business only, but one must think a plan ahead and must be aware of the risk, whats zee going to do when this strategy wont work anymore as many rubina fans stopped watching...

Angie answer to your above line, when sarita was talking to divya above mentioned dialogue , was Divya given the time to respond to her question , here again Divya was put in katghara Was Raj that time able to share the responsibility with Divya as he himself was student . Why there was no answer from Divya , her explanation. The person who himself was depended on his parents , could have gone against his parents wishes . They both were in college , may be had few months friendship , can be infatuation as both were young .It could have been mature story involving three characters , but sorry , there was no concrete story .

Why would they give lines to Divya that would show her pain or her emotions when they want to make both Raj and Sarita the victims? Both Raj and Sarita wronged her for their own self centered reasons. If they have her asking questions from both of them, will Divya not get the sympathy.

here sarita was shown without any self respect when her parents were shown to be supportive , why she should take her non-existent husband, s help to marry her again who mentally abused her for last 10 years and also knew about her verbally abused by his family . She should have shown to be gone away with her self respect intact . Is marriage is the end and srart of life ?
Sarita does not have any self respect. If she had, she would not have married Raj when her parents wanted to break up her marriage. Or she would not have tolerated all the abuse. Or she would have walked out of this relationship long time back. She would also not ask Divya to fix up her marriage.
It was ok to show her like this because there are girls who are like that. But that doesn't make Sarita's character likeable especially when it was her choice to inflict this pain on herself.

Thanks for reminding me that CB2's initial shooting was near Indore. Wasn't it in Ujjain? So Rubina would have fans there. So that's why Rubina was sent there.
