Let down moments.

Colors this season of JDJ is a big let down. Here are few not so good things about yesterday's episode.

1) First of all why is the channel making the anchors point out the same thing again and again- Sid got less marks?? I mean it was very much visible the way he danced but NO, they continued asking the same thing last night too. It looked more like an attempt of them showing that we are not BIASED and our channel boy will get marks only for his dance and not because he's the channel boy. 🤢

2) Next the section of kids and Sid. It could have been a very good segment had the channel not used it for promotion of Sony WIAO laptops. Seriously??? 😕

3) Remo saying that it's high time contestants need to buckle up 😕 I believed this show is a dancing competition from the start but Remo, I think was warming up all this time. Was he waiting for his other DID crew to join and be a part of JDJ before pointing out the technicalities, like he did last night. 😕

4) The whole RK- Madhubala segment, what was the need of bringing him to the show and who wrote those cheesy lines.. (Tumhare Pass do hi option hain...😆)

5) All through the episode I saw the same laughing expression of Lauren and Punit. 😲It's high time the colors should change their EDITORS.

6) It may not be intentional but because the channel is going extra mile to promote their shows actors, it came across as such to me. At the start of Shaan performance why only Sid was chosen to start with him. 😲 There are other guys too but the channel sees only Sid, and last night it was only Sid, and Sid and more of Sid. 🤢

7)The only good thing, apart from the dance performances of the contestants- Kapil and Manish, much better yesterday. 😛 I think they are the only saving grace for this season. It's their camaraderie that is working for this season of JDJ.


The conclusion - Grab a show on colors before thinking about participating in JDJ next season. 😛

And what more to expect in the upcoming episode- Like RK, Anandi will be called to say few words about Sid. They will dance and judges will say"I have seen the show and I love your acting". OR I may be wrong if he gets eliminated this week. 😆😛

I agree Kapil stole the show yesterday. Normally Manish is my favourite..but yest. Kapil was very funny! They were the only saving grace.

Frankly there was nothing really 'wow' in any of the performances. that was a let down for me. The only performance i liked was Sana's..she was brilliant but she got only a 27 for one awkward lift...besides her all were mediocre. the scoring of the judges were also very faulty!!

Your really great in your analysis and you have some very reasonable points which even I noticed.

Mukti is a very good dancer, I hav seen her dance in Zara Nachke Dikha. She is capable of much more and I was really disappointed by her dance performance yestarday. I think Mukti needs better choreo partner. Drasti and Salman's lifts were nice IMO. But bringing in VD on JDJ for MEIEJ promotion was a lousy stunt. Even I was pissed off with Sony Viao ka commercial. They hac commercial breaks for such purposes then why introduce such antics in the show.

i didn't like mukti's performance, the way she was projected as a trained danced doing lidsy hop i felt too easier steps not of her calibre of dance, there was no creativity in that song.

Thanks everyone for commenting. And I agree, the performances this week were okay.

About Mukta, after watching her performance I think the reason why she got the low score was because of the song selection. They chose wrong song for wrong style. I remember Hard Kaur did Linda style one season with Savio and it was worth watching but this time, Mukti was a big let down. They should have chosen a peppy- dance type song, it could have worked.

As for the hype, this season not a single strategy is working for the channel. It's time they start taking this show as a competition based dance show instead of trying to add Masala which is not working. A dance show cannot get good trp's and cannot be good if there is less dance and more of other stuff.

Either change the title to "Jhalak Kapil aur Manish ki" because I am sure many must be watching for them only, or bring in some innovative ideas instead of promoting their own shows and actors, week after week. 🤢

@Anchit1882: Karan Patel act was another example of failed attempt of adding Masala. He cleared his name stating it was scripted...WOW as if we didn't know *rolls eyes* But he enacted the bad script in a bad way. So... 🥱
Next time he should practice his lines thoroughly before performing. His "so- called joke" made him a Rude person in front of many.

You know I have been watching Jhalak since the first season and I've always enjoyed it but this season just has me so frustrated that I might not watch the next one, or even this one through. I love Sid a lot, I really do and I know he isn't the best dancer around right now but even I don't see the need of concentrating on his low scores. And if I hear his hero-like quality and female fan-following being talked about one more time, I'll scream!
