For me it wasn't that. It's the fact that Zoya's father's truth is seeming to be revealed by the worst possible character at the worst possible time in the world. This track has not only been stretched to the length of an unnecessary bible, but the common sense in the show is shot.

If I were Zoya I would've been shouting at Asad, that why is he doing this. After all they've been through she just let him walk away!? And Tanveer is gonna reveal Ghaffur!? Like SERIOUSLY!?

That's what is killing it for me. Not that Asad would announce Tanveer's nikaah. But the fact that he didn't have enough respect for Zoya to be honest with her. And the fact that they've accomodated this manhoos billi so much that she's going to reveal the whole MAJOR twist of the serial, when she's an insignificant character.

Edited: We all wanted to see Asad pining for Zoya for him to respect her, to realize her importance to him. NOT so that a stupid cat can take over the show and become the new lead.
