Agree but should have decency to give credit , where it comes from . Funny viewers are telling creatives how to proceed further in the storyline . Divorce papers , then her parents , so many instances . It was really odd how come that girl fall in love with Rahul , who rejected Sarita with the reason of her being married . In this show self respect has gone for a drive . just saw Raj describing his wife for some Marriage Bureau . If she has all the qualities then why someone will divorce her .
Why they go on harping on PV , why not come with some progressive approach . If a relationship is dead , no use to carry it . !0 years is long time , But in this show all is Hazy , Divya came with magic wand , touched Raj , his heart thawed and he stated watching Sarita and her qualities . I write after reading yours comments . Frankly i do not like this PH another show , but that has story which is not changing at drop of hat . Already said both channel and PH must be patting their backs with innovative ideas . now comes virginity tests , giving already sick people another idea to degrade the girls .

😆 Neerja, you do have a point about their show generating a lot of discussion. I do have sympathy for ever changing writing team for working so hard day and night reading the forum, writing and rewriting the story/script. But can they just ask us which ideas we want them to take? It is not as if viewers here are asking for any royalty.

Come on Angie , do you really want them to come openly and give credit to people who are bringing reasoning or should say laughing at their creative minds from where these innovative ideas are coming . Really miss the old shows , where there were reputed writes and were more progressive .

It is interesting to read your post. I am enjoying from cb. I did not watch the show. Only read written update. The story is crap and I think it was changed after one month. They must have said Ruby another story to sign and then change it, They are changing it again and again.

Thanks avinaalways. I don't want to comment on why Rubina signed this show or what script was she given. But it is true that the show is not what it has been promoted as. The show was promoted as the love story of an actress but it turned out to be something different.

Loved your take for today's episode. Thanks aimf Your thoughts about the so-called modern Rohan and his family are right on. I hope the "modern" Rohan does not get too fresh on his first date with Sheela. The precap ended on a suspenseful note that the "date" might portend some unforseeable trouble, especially as our self-sacrificing-suhagan, Sarita, was not allowed to be the chaperone to Sheela due to Kammu's objections. If the CVs take that route, and if Sarita ends up helping Sheela out of a difficult or awkward situation (perhaps on her way back from the airport, after trying to stop Divya from leaving) with Rohan or his friends, it will only be designed to make her appear more mahan and indispensable in the eyes of Raj. By the way things are going it looks like soon Raj will start to worship Sarita.😉 Raj is one extreme character...when he was pining for Divya and being angry and sulking...he ignored Sarita for ten years. Now when he is feeling guilty about Sarita, he is ignoring Diva for whom he has pined for 10 years. Its either black or white for him and there are no grey areas.

I loved your discussion about the so called friend that phones up randomly to say that Divya is on her way to the airport. The creatives must be out of their minds to suddenly introduce a perfect stranger who not only has Sarita's number but also appears to know her plan of uniting Ravya, and therefore just happens to ring her up.I was completely bemused by this thought process of the creatives. I mean they have pulled out various rabbits from their magical hat but this was completely out of the world. I mean if they really wanted take that route, could they not have Gaurav make that phone call? It would have been so much realistic since Sarita has met Gaurav and has talked with him. But Gaurav would have costed money...whereas the voice on the phone wouldn't.

I am becoming rather cynical, and in the interests of focusing on something a bit more positive, I will say that that what I liked about today's episode was that the "tatkal talaak' (instant divorce) appears to have freed both Raj and Sarita from going through the repeated sorry-go-round cycles of unmet expectations-resentment-sorrow-internalised oppression (Sarita) and resentment-rebellion-rejection-dejection (Raj). The ten years of their lives were lived in repeated enactment of these cycles, where each person was bound, not only by his or her issues, but also by that of the other. I think these ominous and repeated cycles, along with their dire consequences were well depicted with the symbol of the fan. I was always wondering about the abiding presence of the fan in many of the earlier episodes. I was even moved to make a post about it. When Sarita goes to inform Raj that she is leaving him, they end up colliding against each other, and we see the shadow of the fan blades repeatedly circling over Sarita's face. Again, in another scene, Raj is shown to be repairing a table fan, while the topic of PV is being raised by his father. Yet again, we see Sarita spying on Raj and Divya in the candle-lit conversation scene in the raddi godown office, and the shadow of the fan blades are again encircling her face repeatedly. The fan again features prominently in creating a fear in Raj that it might fall on Sarita and lead to her death as per the fake prophecy. Finally, Raj replaces the fan, perhaps in one of his first acts of expressed concern, where he takes Sarita's well being into account, perhaps symbolizing the end of the routinized cycles of disenchantment between them.

The tatkaal talaak appaers to have freed Raj and Sarita from these tangent cycles of ominous expectations and renewed resentment, and slowly emerge from their own cocoons of fear and dejection. Therefore they are able to interact freely with each other, and give one another the space to just be. This is refreshing to see amidst the other dysfunctions and unexplained turns and twists of the plot that truly leaves one's head swirling.

I do remember your fan analogy and I like the way you have linked the fan with the staleness and disenchantment that their relation had become. I understand what you are trying to say, my problem is that if they had shown this slowly I would have accepted it. But everything in this show is changing very quickly...Raj is in hibernation for 10 years and bham he wakes up when Divya appears. Raj is guilty and then he is in love...Sarita is bitter and then she is not...Divya leaves,Sarita's whole life revolves around sacrifice...Sarita is clingy and obsessive and now she is not. It is as if the characters have some switches that can be presssed off and on. Its becuase of these quick changes that the show appears very superficial to me.

I too wondered about Sundari's sudden "vacation." Is it to save money on another character for now, or is it a statement about Divya? Only time will tell.Lets see.

Thanks for your response. I totally agree with you about the characters appearing with ready-made off-on swtiches, and are made to look like kathputlis (puppets) in the hands of whoever is the writer for the week. Of everything that you said, this part really was an astute observation and stood out for me. I could accept Raj being a black-and-white character, had the show problematized this from the start.

The problem is that there is no background to link either of these couples Raj-Divya or Raj Sarita, and therefore the plot suffers. I once told Angie that I thought that the plot was anorexic. Now I shall amend that statment and say that the plot is bulimic as well, and gets into the situation of constantly throwing up stuff that it first ingested, but suddenly finds itself unable to assimilate.

I wonder if this state would have been any better with the female characters being switched --if Divya was part of Raj's present, and Sarita was Raj's past. Perhaps it would make no difference, if, as you say, various buttons from above are being pressed to make the characters keep dancing to a changing tune.

Many shows are coming with season 2 . but taking time , i think its months to get prepared with story and look at this show which came immediately , otherwise would have missed the train . Writers were not even given time to refresh their creativity means brains , sorry not sure , must have gone bankrupt with first one . What was the role of Angel Divya , just to awaken the sleeping prince charming with her magic wand . Was there really a role for Divya or she was taken for a ride along with her fans and viewers of CB . Otherwise i do not think many would have been interested . Why she was promoted with Raj all the time .

Thanks Sonia.

Pran sahab will be missed by many hindi movie lovers. His depiction of the villians used to be very entertaining.
