Hi guys
I am back with my weekend post. Yesterday's episode raised a lot of questions and we had quite a few discussions on various threads about the current track.
Well here are my two cents..
Ajmer was initially touted as the 'test of love' for Asad and Zoya.
Yes, we had the big confession (Asad to Zoya) and then the big realization (Zoya's trust in Asad) and the big confrontation (Zoya-Tanveer)
Both Asad and Zoya passed this first test of love. His confession revived her almost dead soul and her realization gave her the strength to return back home.
Unfortunately, this test doesn't end here. This was just the beginning for their long road ahead. The only difference is that now they are emotionally one. Just like they were holding hands a day before the nikaah, they will continue to hold hands throughout this journey but unfortunately have many walls to face. The first one of course is Tanveer. After the Tanveer reveal, we might have ? Ayaan track (not sure about this) and Ghafoor track (the biggest and strongest wall)
In other words, till all these walls crumble, we will not see a AsYa nikaah. They will have to go through a number of tests to prove that their love can conquer any hurdle.
In fact, right now I feel Asad is not even ready to get married to Zoya. Even though he was happy about getting a second chance, he still has this nagging feeling that he betrayed Zoya and is unworthy of her. This was obvious by his expressions and the way he averted his eyes when Zoya said she doesn't care if anything happened between him and Tanveer that night.
A marriage has to be a union between equals. Right now, Asad feels that he is standing on a lower moral platform than Zoya. Till he is released of his guilt and regains his confidence back, he should not marry Zoya. The lion needs to claim his lioness and till he learns to roar again, he can't do that.
So, let's not expect any AsYa nikaah for a while. Look forward to them supporting each other, holding each other's hands, protecting each other and ultimately claiming each each other.
Let the tests begin...
