My take on Tumhari Disha - 23rd Aug '05

Its been a while since i write this take. But you wud all agree that lately the way TD has been I just could not make myself write anything leave alone a take and that together with my other commitments explains my absence for long.Nikki I liked ur choices wala post. (in case u ppl are wondering what am taking abt read it here).

Thanks vidya for that detailed update. Really appreciate the patience of jingle, twine and u (and others whoeever has been providing the update) for continuing to provide such excellent updates.

Well coming back to the take now Satvik is like DK and Dish now wants a child as well. They have conveniently used the best lie which is amnesia for not remembering things. But this has actually thrown open a new can of worms.

Why did they show Pori disguised as Dish and killing DK ? I mean if DK has to die why this mask. It can only mean one good thing. DK may be resurrected at a later date with hatred 2wards Dish.

I thought of another angle....When Pori can be masked as Dish why not Ved as DK ? Maybe DK is unique. !!

Has DK signed away his properties to Dish ? If he has just given PoA to Dish does he not have the right to revoke it ? Why shud he act cosy with Dish ? He can as well just come and revoke it. Maybe our legal experts can throw some light on this one.

Dreams Dreams Dreams.......We are back to the world of dreams......Dish once again imagines a close moment with DK in rain yesterday...I guess the makers of TD decided that they need to show some close moments between the lead pair if they have to maintain their TRPs. I noticed one thing yesterday. When Dish was rearranging the things in DK's room DK (aka Satvik) stares at Dish for some time. As if he is beginning to get mesmerised by her. Maybe DK's aura has slowly rubbed on him as well (of being in awe/love with Disha). In fact if this happens then Mahika's insecurities will prove to be true.

Acting wise nothing to mention in particular. The child actor just reads out whatever dialogues that he has to say. bad acting. Ashish seems to have improved over the days. The way he was trying to prove himself yesterday was good. (He did not look so uncomfortable nor did he do a newsread of the dialogues). Present Ved mostly runs around with the same kind of glum expression nowadays. Nothing to say in particular (Am sorry jingle but the director has not given him any scene where he can exhibit his acting talent). Dish/Rano/Suhas are all as usual. Though Rano with that fiery expression in her eyes is now getting on my nerves. (I can hear someone telling..isn't it true for TD as well.???).

Costumes wise no change. Gargi seems to have changed her hair style a bit. though the diamongs on her eyes remain. DK is back to his usual suits. Dish now wears plain saris (not the earlier types) with some kind of contrasting blouse and I tend to agree with Vidya that its not great. Like for yesterday she was wearing a pale yellow sari with a blouse that had big rounds with multicolors and long chandelier type earrings (did she swap her earrings with Gargi by any chance ???).

At this note I end my take. Hope that u all enjoyed reading as much as I enjoyed penning it (after a long time). Looking forward to your views as well.

Swathi dear all of us have greatly missed your takes, and I just enjoyed reading this one. Everything is as you have mentioned, but one thing Swathi, Dish has not yet observed that her DK(Satvik) is missing out on the jewellry bit. How come the Guhas have forgotten the ear studs, the heavy thick chain and the ring and also the bracelet that DK was always wearing?

And they have also forgotten Kanchi. Poor thing, they did not even give her a decent bidaai. Dish has just forgotten her.

td section had lost its charm in the recent days.

dk had given POA to ved ,but ved had transferred it disha's name ,so even if dk had not died dish would remain the sole owner ,but dk died with disha as his successor to his property .so now dk in to get the property signed back to ved and gargi's name.

yaa i agree with u ved/sachin tyagi's acting is not very impressive in td as it was in family business

Nice to see ur take Swathi after a long time 👏 and also thanks to Vidya, Twinks, Jings and all for having the patience to write the updates of the dragging TD 🤢 . We are really behind now 😭 though I don'try to follow the serial regularly but whatever I see in bits and pieces I found Ashish's acting very very artificial 🤢 , Oh gosh it makes me feel that he can only act well in DK's role 😕 Sorry if I have hurt anyone but that is what I felt. And moreover these serial makers also make it so artificial. can't stop laughing 😳 . I am referring to the first episode in which Mahika enters. They acted like newly wed teenagers 😳 the way she comes to the hotel where the table was booked and Ashish having eyes only on her and taking her to the dance floor to dance 🤢 😃 Ashish looked so so artificial. Though Manika was not all that bad in it 😛
And Disha looked so gorgeous in the sarees but since makeovers are the flavour of the season maybe they have given her this change of get up. But that dumbo attitude is the same 😡 my goodness the way she keeps trusting and believeing every enemy of hers I am sure she will not take long in doobafying 😳 😉 Kanaka empire 😃

Well to be honest I have not seen TD properly in ages and watch at sometimes I will now start to watch a bit more when Satvik becomes DK..But i still believe that Satvik or DK Guhas are not sure themselves what to do I guess they have left it open and as you say amanesia is a good excuse to turn him into DK...Time will tell I guess Guhas wanted everyone to play this guessing game and they have successed so I must applaud them for once again torturing the viewers with their silly twists and suspense 😕 😕

I think Ashish as Satvik has been great as he had to show two different angles as DK's character is a complee contrast to Satvik's..What makes me wonder is Disha being so close to DK has not been able to suspect Satvik (Guhas's special I guess)..

Thanx Swathi for the great uptake. I have been missing it. TD has been quite dull in the past weeks so I understand that you didnt feel like writing any comments but it seems that now it might pick up again after DK has come back.

This mystary of Satvik and DK will continue for many weeks/months and we wont be getting any answers so we just have to keep on guessing. Regarding Kanchans so strong entry and then just disappear like that is quite irritating. This only once again proves that Guhas are following footsteps of Ekta, as in her serials also when characters just comes and goes no one knows, it is only after her convenience. In TD also they showed both Shikha Roy and Kanchans grand entry at the same time after that huge twist and both just left without doing anything significant role.

Guhas seems to be quite confused at the moment and dont know what they want to do. They are just picking bits here and there from other serials and trying to drag the show as much as they can. After all they have got extension and the show must go on and on and on. If the audience is having problems in this process then it is not their headache. 😉 or is it? 😆

well since here in SA we've just watched dk's murder & kanchan finding the body, i too had the same Q.........what was the intention behing pori wearing dish's mask? now that could only mean that guhas r planning to bring back dk only to hate dish dear 😭 ..........

i'm not sure if it was a POA handed to dish.........if i recall the updates it was dk's will that left everything to dish........so yeh legal guys can help us out here....

i think CB had asked me to look out for the fact that kanchan finds dk's belongings (chain, bracelet) & declares him dead.........well CB last nights episode showed the hawaldaars finding dk's body & pulling his neck chain out of his pocket..........now what was it doing in the pocket??? 😕 .......well i'll have to watch today to c where the bracelet falls from 😉

yuppp i dont think the chamelion as mink would say has recently changed either ......loll n yupp there goes the dream sences again wen they've got nutin better to doo the dreams start again ....uff atleast show dem wen ppl sleepin not in broad daylight loll 😆 😆 ........but itz good to hav dk back atleast well temporarily becuz he still cant make up his nmd about wehter to be satvik or dk loll
