Several different sites have posted this and instead of providing a link to another site I am just cutting and pasting the article, its brief. I posted this article because it seems everyone is confused as to where the series should go, they were correct in trying to instill some comedy in the series but it seems like they changed their mind which isn't a good sign. It can't be all drama all the time.

"Vijay Badlani, last seen in Sahara One's Ghar Aaja Pardesi, had recently bagged an interesting role in SLB Productions' Saraswatichandra on Star Plus, but the actor is no more a part of the show.

The artiste was approached to play Vahbbiz Dorabjee's on-screen husband and he commenced shooting for the same. As a matter of fact, the actor had even shot with the team for three days. But on the third day, he found things to be "uncertain and unclear".

Hence, Vijay went ahead and approached the creative team to understand what exactly was happening. This is when he learnt that the character brief that was given to him was about to change and the days he had shot for would go waste as they wanted his character to enter the show a bit later.

The actor did not find it fair as he tells us, "I was given a different character sketch where I would be planning and plotting against the family in a comical manner. But suddenly, everything seemed different on the third day of the shoot."

In fact, no heed was paid to his concern, as he goes on to state, "Moreover, one of the creatives went ahead to text some channel official stating that I wouldn't be able to shoot as I was moving out of Mumbai for a few days. To my surprise, she was texting this while I stood right behind her. When I questioned her about the same, she just left the scene without answering me. Immediately, I walked out of the sets as I couldn't take it anymore."

We also tried contacting Vahbbiz to properly understand the issue, but she remained unavailable for comment.

However, her Manager Dushyant later told us that Vijay had shot with Vahbbiz, but she has no idea about what went wrong."
I am not going to comment on the current track and the future of SC, I have commented on that on other posts but if SLB is trying to expand what he did in his movies (Devdas, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam), he also needs to add some humor, comedy, light moments with a little positivity or romance in the air, the series can't be just crying and heartache for the foreseeable future.
Also, audience members love a flawed hero that goes thru difficulties and overcomes them to find himself and then to win his true love but the way they are making Gautum is a weak indecisive man and the key word is "MAN"; audiences want to see a man, not a boy that crumbles whenever life throws something hard in his path.
I want him to face his fears, his heartache, have very intense moments of doubt but also show him maturing as a character, growing, learning and eventually showing the world who he really is on his own two feet (no help from Laxminandan) and then hopefully being able to convince Kumud who her true soulmate is.

it means that the whole team is under pressure because the show is under scanner and i do agree that saras's character should be shown as a man and not a loveless child who is still looking for his mother's love, its time to look for kumud's love now😉..i guess too late for that as well!

well all these things keep happening...nothing new ...we as audiences just need to see the show...as for saras his character has to develop step by step...they cant change the character of a novel overnight ...plus they did need the twist and decided to follow novel way ...so whats wrong...who said alll men r supermen ...frankly speaking many r like saras and i women love them more as they feel an unknown connection with them ...strange but true

No one is saying the character needs to change overnight, part of a good drama or story is when the characters suffer setbacks and deal with them and overcome them. Its true that some women are attracted to men who are conflicted but women aren't the only ones watching the serial and having a male lead that male viewers can't respect is difficult.
At the end of the day, hopefully we see Saras growing and learning because its hard to respect anyone, forget about man or woman who can't bounce back after life's problems; everyone has them. I am looking forward to seeing Saras's character develop but don't know how long this tragedy can sustain itself without getting old.
