I think they changed the story line ..earlier it was the story of a muslim girl and mumbai gannstar...so Adaa is kind of a muslim name...but they changed her character to a kashmir based punjabi girl..so the name is now Antara Kaur...

good they changed the name to Jaan. Also Antara sounds much better than adaa. BTW Adaa is a muslim girl's name so i guess tgey changed the name because of the change in plot. So happy that raghu will go to kashmir. TFS
