Her face paled as she took in the scene going in front of her. Then just in a moment, a decision was made. Her face twisted in a bitter smile.

"Bacche no!!!"

"Khushi no !!!!!"

She ignored it completely as she said "I am solely responsible for this."

With a loud music buzzing in her room and draped in a white towel, Khushi sang along while jumping around. She opened her wardrobe which was overflowing with designer dresses. She went through dozens of dresses shaking her head in disapproval throwing them on her king sized bed dejectedly. Finally picking a white A-line knee length dress, she nodded to herself happily. Tossing the white towel away, she quickly wore it and applied kohl making her hazel eyes look more attractive and beautiful than they already were.

After dabbing minimal makeup on her face and applying some lip gloss, she stared at her reflection in an approving way and blew a flying kiss at her reflection bouncing happily. Picking up her Gucci bag, she ran out of her room and grabbed an apple from the dining table. Bidding goodbye to the every servant of Gupta Mansion, she ran towards the parking lot. A man in his late forties dressed in a typical white driver's dress wished her a very good morning. Smiling at him, Khushi took the car keys from him and drove the car towards 'Gupta Pharmaceutical' on a very high speed.

Stopping the car in front of the building with a loud screech, Khushi came out of the car and entered inside the office as everyone greeted her. Without paying attention to anyone, she went straight to the office upstairs looking tensed and serious. She opened the cabin and looked around with baited breath.

Finally spotting the person she wanted to see, she jumped straight into the waiting arms of the person.

"Papa I missed you."

"I missed you too Bacche."

As Shashi patted her hairs in an affectionate way, Khushi gave him a very charming smile and broke into a hurried talk "Oh Papa You can't believe how much I missed you. I hope you are feeling fine after your surgery. Papa you shouldn't have handed me the power of attorney of this empire. I was so tensed everyday with all those things I never understand. You know na I am not a science student and then there were graduation party thing too for me to look after. I was just going crazy. Phew thank god you came back, finally I can go back to my carefree life."

"Oh mera baccha. Sorry you had to handle all this. But what to do bacche? You are my only kid and only you can handle all these responsibilities after me."

"Uh puhleez Papa I am not going to enter in this office ever in my life."

"Bacche you need to learn all this for your own good."

Sighing in defeat, Khushi spoke "Fine Papa. I will only learn all this when you assign someone to make me understand all this otherwise I am going home right now."

Shashi smiled victoriously as he said "And I got the perfect person to make you understand all this."

Just then someone knocked on the door and the door opened as Shashi allowed the person to come inside.

Hazel eyes met molten brown eyes.

"Khushi meet your mentor, Arnav Singh Raizada."

The very same moment, Khushi Kumari Gupta's perfectly happy world started crumbling into pieces.

Handcuffs were tied around her wrists as she kept staring at her father. She smiled as she looked around.

It was all a facade.
