There has been an ongoing debate, on whether or whether not fish is considered as a meat or not...some its meat; others say its vegetarian and the rest of them say its demi-vegetarian.😕
So is fish a vegetarian dish?😊

No concept is universal! Everything is relative!!
Brahmins in most of the Indian states claim themselves to be vegetarian and they happily eat FISH and when we ask "Is fish a vegetarian food?" they sweetly reply that "Fish is Jala pushpa" .
Bengali Brahimins,Oriya Brahimins consider fish as vegetarian food.Once my relatives(who are telugu Brahmins) went for a lunch in Oriya Brahmins house. They were served all the items, finally a special item was served,my unlce asked what's that curry?,they replied its jala pushpa means fish.My uncle and aunty became like this😕,they came out of the lunch without eating anything!!
I consider FISH as non vegetarian food.
BTW plants also have life.So these vegetarians !! won't they feel the pain of plants when they are plucking the leaves and vegetables of plants😆😆
So this concept is so fishy
cheers,
