well hehe lemme start, I was pretty skeptical about the English version and had resigned to watch only the hindi one (i don't get either here in my country, but i have the full Hindi series so i was planning to watch it parallel to airing)

But yesterday i downloaded the English one and watched. At the beginning when they had Khushi's voice i was finding it funny.. But little by little I settled in to the voice and by the time she told about her prince i was kinda ok.
Then came ASR's voice, that too for a few mins sounded jarring and obvious. But in the end of the money exchange I became adapted when he said that about money being just business part.

But then when 'uzool sirf bewakoofo keliye hote hai...' i missed Barun's husky voice I fell in love with sooo much!! And then Khushi turning around saying 'Bhool bulaiya chaliye bhaiya...' I was like longing for Sanaya's chirpy childish Khushi voice...

sigh then somewhere by the end I was totally captivated with ASR on stage voice and Khushi's complaints backstage again made me feel as if the English words were said actually by Arnav & Khushi... I just got hooked to it..

And I was so engrossed watching that sigh.. like every single time when she stepped on to the hem of her dress and landed in his waiting protective arms like an angel from heaven...my breath hitched...i forgot to breath..
And i knew it all over again that I am in for yet another journey.., this time in English...cz it somewhat feels as if I am watching it for the first time...i feel the same excitement.. same joy...and unfortunately heartache too...which i guess will never fully go away as long as I live..

Anyway by the time the episode ended I was in tears...longing, loving and craving...sigh.. the point is they have done a fabulous job with dubbing.. I am going to watch and collect every single episode all over again so I have the English version also with me just like the hindi one!!

I just love them so much and...sigh...i am falling short of words..i just love them...my life, my ArHi & my IPKKND...

Great post. Although I was a bit skeptical to watch the English version and didn't like the dubbed voices when I first heard them, I soon began to accept the voices and admire the characters that I grew to love.

Agree with you sunara - they did a very good job by hiring professional artists for dubbing in English and the artists are trying to do good job for the episodes. And I agree with you - I too am going to watch all the episodes once again. For another 1.5 yrs I am set with Arnav-Khushi's story. Sigh, BS-SI were class apart and this story is something I can watch again and again.

Yeah i had the similar experience 😊

It sounded weird in the beginning but got used to it till the end and i felt i was watching something new .

I applaud star for the huge effort they out in it , its very professional and at some places it felt as if actors on screen were delivering those English dialogues...so overall i am quite pleased with the double dose.

Though I miss Barun's husky voice modulation, it was really refreshing & entertaining to watch it in english version... I am just ready to fall in love with IPK all over again... I cant explain how much thrilled & excited after this re-run has started though not in India. 8th july is another milestone in IPK calendar. IPK is creating records & no other serial can even come close to it in the near future... Proud to be an arshian...

Agree sunara , English version is not that bad , after IPK I started watching in Telugu also, for me I don't mind any language as long as I can watch my Arshi again and again 😳

I thought the worse when i saw the english promo!
but yesterday when i watched it i actually liked it, i know we are used to the indian version and the original voices but lets be realistic; the voice had to be dubbed and i believe the dubbing was quite good!
yeah its gonna be weird and maybe even funny sometimes but overall it's not that bad!
