Chapter 16:

" I don't listen to tomato." He shouted from inside.

" Godd.. Itne serious.. situation me bhi.. mazak sooz raha hain.." She said in anger.

"Hmm.. at least.. uss topic se distract toh ho gyi.." Rey murmured to himself.

They were done with luggage. Driver kept all the luaggage in car. Both settled in car. Car started their journey towards airport.

" Sir..." She called him.

He quickly looked at her.. The word "sir".. as he snoop the word.. He felt weird... It was odd for him..

"Sir.." Again she called him.

He came out of the trance and looked at her with irritation..

"What??" He asked.

She sensed irritation in his tone.. Few minutes before, he was in mood to crack jokes.. that too in such a serious situation and now?? What happened, suddenly??

"I can't understand him and his mood swing. Only, god knows.. what he is?" She said in her mind.

Soon, she concentrated on their conversation.

" I was saying that don't you think.. You should think, once about Meheta.." She asked him softly.

"Taani.. Tum.." He was going to bust out but, she cut him in between.

" I know.. I know.. The reason sir..." She paused and looked at him.

Again, "Sir".. He again get irritated..

"But, still.. just for an employee.. you can't ruin the entire Singhania Industry.. We can't afford that.. So.. It's my request... Please, Think of it." Taani finished it.

Rey looked at her for a while..

"Okay.. I will think.." He declared.

"Take your time." She smiled, softly.

"Yapp.. sure." He said.

She took a deep breath of relief. She looked out from window. Must be two to three minutes passed...

"Okay.. I have decided.." He said.

She turned to him.. and looked at him.

"Huh?? " She didn't get it, what he meant?

" I have decided.." He said it more clearly.

"That.. I will not change my decision.."He stated.

First, she was shocked. She thought, he would took some days to think. But, he took less than 15minutes. The disspointment was clearly visible on her pretty face. She grimaced at his words. And turned towards window.

He just smiled at her reaction..

The rest of the joureny jogged in silence... Finally, they reached at airport.

At Airport,

Rey and Taani were sitting in cafe. The filght was quite late..It was nearly 4-5 hours were left..He was busy in his cellphone and Taani was sipping the coffee.

They were soundless. Taani was ignoring Rey as she was not agree with his so called "decesion" and Rey was just ignoring Taani's reaction as he knew, she will be fine very soon. But, still... Taani was thinking, how to change his decision. Rey knew, what she was thinking. She was not ready to leave that topic. So, he decided to tease her and distract her from the topic.

"Taani.. There is no point to run your brain and give it stress.. I am not going to change my decesion at any cost...so please.. Don't think that much.. It will make you tired only. So.. Don't give pressure to your tiny brain.." He cleared it in very playful manner. He smirked at her.

She was hell annoyed. How could he? My Brain is not tiny. Huhhnn..

"Aap na..Aap.. ek no. ke.. Khadoos ho!" She blabberd in front of him in anger.

Soon, his smirked transformed into a shocked and angry expression. I am trying to lighten up her mood, and she is calling me "Khadoos"??

"Kya kaha tumne?? Repeat it??" He warned her.

"Q?? apke deemag ke saath saath...apke ears bhi work nahi kar rahe hain??" She said with a evil but, yet naughty smile.

"What did you say, I don't have brain..?? Huh??" He glared at her.

"You know what, I can't bear you more... As soon as we will reach at Mumbai.. I will take some rest from 2-3 days from you and office." He told her.

"Haaww...That means.. Me irritating hun?? Toh aap kya ho??" She asked.

"Dekho tum.." Before he could complete.

An announcement beeped from speaker.

" The flight S334, From Shimla to Mumbai is cancelled due to some techniacal problems."

"Wow..Great.. " He said while clutching his hair.

"No way... " She said it while pressing her forehead.

They both looked at each other at the same time.

"Ohh... Godd... Ek aur din??" Rey said it.

"Woh bhi apke saath.." Taani said it with irritation.

Rey glared at her... He paid coffee's bill and took his luggage and started stepping towards exit...

"Ab yeh kaha jaa rahe hain??"

She was confused..But, she decided to follow him. They were out of the airport. Taani was still looking at him with questioning look.

"Well.. I don't have a choice.. But, we have to stay here for one day..Our driver was on rent and I paid him full money so.. He will be not available for us from now.. you call my receptionist Miss. Rosy.. and tell her to book the tickets..Till than, we will live at my friend's place.."

"Okay.. " She agreed.

Soon, they catch local taxi and Rey started giving him directions. Taani was trying Miss. Rosy's phone..But, she was not responding. So, she decided to call her on her cellphone. But, no use.

"Umm.. Miss. Rosy is not responding.."

"Okay...Let me send her messege." Rey said.

Finally, they reached to their destination after 6-7 hours running...It was something a medium house, which was located near local area of Shimala.. It was nearly 5pm. Due to the weather.. Sunset was taking place..

Both took their luggage and entered in that house...

A 60 years old servent came running to both of them..

"Saab ji.. aapka naam...Rey hain kya??"

"Ji ha.. Par apko kaise pata??" Rey asked him.

"Woh.. bade malik ne.. ap aa rahe ho.. yeh bata diya tha.. " He answered.

"Accha thik hain.."

"Saab ji.. yeh madam ji kaun hain? Apki koi lagati hain??" Servent asked.

Rey and Taani looked at each other.. They don't know what to answer.. Answer was there.. But, for them.. It was not. Both came to their sense.. as servent coughed.

"Umm...Ji nahi.. matlab, me inki secretay hun.." Taani answered.

"Accha.. mujhe laga..aap inke saath hain.. me apka samman rakhke aata hun.." He completed and went to do work.

When Servent went,. Unknowingly...

"Accha???" Rey asked.

Taani didn't answer. She kept mum.

Rey just kept looking at Taani... Taani knew, he was looking at her. She was not ready to meet her eyes with him. She was constantly looking here and there. The way he kept looking at her was making her restless. She tucked some strands behind her ear which was not necessary. The action which was taking place by her was due to nervousness.

All of a sudden, Rey's phone started ringing. He came out of his trance and went to take call.

"Kaka.. mera kambra (room) kaha hain?" She asked servent.. who was busy in his work.

"Woh... samne wala.." He pointed towards the direction.

"Accha.. thik hain..." She answered and entered in room.

After few minutes, Rey also came and went to rest in his room.

Few Hours Later:

They came out of their room to take dinner.

After taking one bite...

"Kaka... It's delicious..." Taani said while enjoying the food.

"Bitiya.. Mujhe nahi pata apne ab kya kaha?? Par.. itna samajh aaya ki apko khana pasand aaya.." Servent said as he don't understand English.

Taani giggled at his comment.

"Kaka.. khana bhot bhot jada accha hua hain.." She sweetly said.

"Accha..accha.." Kaka said.

Rey was observing.. Taani.

"God... Agar yeh itni cute hain.. toh mujhse hi kya jagadhti reheti hain??" He murmured.

They were done with dinner.

After some minutes, Kaka came with a drink.

"Yeh yaha ka sthanic peyy (local drink) hain..Apko chaiye??"He asked Rey.

"Nahi.. kaka..." Rey replied.

"Bitiya..aap??" He asked.

"Umm... I will try." She said with a smile.

Kaka gave her a glass of it and went.

"No Taani.. You can't.. don't drink it.."Rey protested.

"Kyu?? Mujhe try karna hain.. me karungi.. " Taani asked.

"Taani.. yeh local drink hain.. matlab.. samjho.." Rey tried to explain her.

But, Taani was not getting it.

"Kya?? Mujhe kuch nahi samjh aa raha hain.." Taani cleared it.

"Taani..Don't drink it.." Rey tried to explain her.

"Aap kya yeh?? Kya problem hain??" Taani asked irritatedly.

"Taani.. Have you ever taken an alcohol??" He asked.

"Nahi.. So?? What is the reference??" She asked more irritatedly.

"Oh.. Godd... What is wrong? Kaka ne itna laya hain.. I am going to drink it.. Okay.."

"No.. Taani listen..."Before he could complete. She was done with gulping that drink.

Taani blinked her eyes.. and moved her head...she sat there for sometime...It was clear that the effect was drink was rising..It was very strong drink...

Rey went near her and called kaka...

"Kaka.. idhar aaiye.."

"Aapne yeh drink.. kyu di isse?? Isko adaat nhi hain.." He shouted at him.

"Maaf kijiye sahib.. Humme laga.. madam ji ko pata rahega..toh.."

"Toh.. tumhe laga.. kisne kaha sochne ke liye??" He shouted at him.

Taani was looking at both of them... with blinking eyes heavily..

"Ohh... Godd... chillao matt.." She said in intoxication.

Rey turned to her..

"Kaka.. aap jaiye.." She ordered Kaka. Kaka went from there.

She somehow stood up.. She was not balancing herself..She somehow managed to stand..It was really difficult to stand...She was going to loose her balance.. But, Rey made her stand.. He kept his hand on her shoulders...She was wearing a sleevless normal Punjabi white top and harem pants...

She looked at his both of the side.. at his hands.. and looked at him..

"Taani.. Ab chupchap sone ko.. jaao.. Go straight to your bed.." He told her.

But, Taani nodded in NO. She moved her head left-right.

She took his both hand from her shoulders..

"Nahi.. Me nahi.."

She somehow.. walked towards window and slide the curtains... It was snow falling..

She ran outside of the house.. In the lawn..Rey also followed her.

Tiny tiny snowballs just like cotton were touching her skin...It was making her wet slightly too.

She was enjoying it.. Rey was just admiring her...He kept looking at her..and her antics..

Suddenly, he heard someone's sneezing... He blinked his eyes with jerk and looked at Taani..

She was sneezing but, still wandering in snowfall..But, again she sneezed.

"Taani.. andar aa jao.." He called her.

"Nahi.."She answered.

"Taani.. Come in.. I think.. It's going to be heavy one.. come in.." He called her...

But, she ignored it. She kept playing in snowfall.

"Yeh.. aise nhi manegi.. already jab hosh me reheti hain.. tab nahi sunati.. ab kya sunegi??" He murmured.

He ran to her. She again sneezed.

"Taani.. let's go.."

"Nahi.."

"Taani.. You will get cold.. let's go inside.."

"Nahi.."

He held her wrist.. But, she made her free and walked from there.

He again.. went near her..

"Tum aa rahi ho ya nahi..??" He asked.

"Nahi.." She answered.

"Final??" He asked.

"Ha.. final na.. aap jaao.." She answered.

"Toh tum aise nhi manogi??" He again asked.

"Chucckk..." She indicated NO.

"Okay." He said simply.

Very next moment... He bent and took Taani in his arm.

First, Taani was startled. She looked down.

"Aap.. mujhe niche utaroo.." She protested.

"Keep quite.." He ordered her.

She started hitting him on his chest.. But, NO use. He took her inside'in her room...

She was glaring at him.. with a pout...Her eyes were heavily closing and opening.. She was on verge of sleeping...He kept her down on bed..He was about to come back..But, he found her hand clutching his shirt-tightly...He looked up to her...Her eyes were closed.. She was in deep slepp.. Her grip was also loosing...

His hand was around her back for support.. and by second hand, he arranged pillow for her. While arranging pillow, he had to bend little... He looked at her..Their lips were so close... Her face was so much close to him.. He could feel her breath sweet in fragrance... But, he controlled himself and make her lie down... and kept her head on pillow carefully.. without disturbing her sleep..

He bent and switched off the light.. But, dim light was on.. in that too...she was looking beautiful... Heavenly beautiful... He smiled at her. She was sleeping like an innocent child.

"Good Night.." He whispered and left the room.

She was jealous because he was giving her importance. He was talking with her...

"Name Rose hain.. and Yeh isse Rosy q keh rahe hain??" She murmured while observing both of them.

Rey looked at Taani from corner of his eye. He captured her annoyed expression.

He chuckled in his own mind.

Pheww... I am done with this chapter... well.. I hope.. The story is progressing on right path... God.. I was going to post yesterday, But.. I couldn't write it.. due to lack of time.. Finally.. complete kiya. 😆 And.. Let me tell you...Naahh.. Let it be... You will come to know in next few chapters...Of course.. It is not confession. 😆 Anyway... My mouth is zipped... 😆
