Today's episode was an opening door towards the ride that would be awaiting us for the next year and half.

The star crossed lovers are thrown on towards each other without the knowledge of stirring pasts that binds them, without realizing that it has been Devi Mayyian and NandKishore themselves who had bind them in what is called represented by a 'boolbulhayyan', similar to a labyrinth that makes an actual appearance later in the series.

The simple nuances in this episode are the stepping stones and foundation of way would be tomorrow between Arnav and Khushi.

Arnav; an ocean that carries the responsibilities thrown towards him at a tender age. A you g boy who grew up too soon just to make sure that his Di stays happy and not one broken glass touches her skin but little does he knows that his blinded love for his sister is going to prove itself as a rough broken glass.

Khushi, you can it in the eyes, the worry to make it all right. The hope to fix everything and put the family she was brought in to a one without a worry in the world but her young age, maturing thoughts and intensive experiences hadn't given her the ability to be rational. I may not be explaining myself correctly but from the gift instance till today, there not one hint of Khushi thinking about the consequences her actions might lead to e en with the best interests at heart.

The episode starting with Khushi falling in Arnav's arms who for few seconds is complete baffled with anger suppressed and Khushi, confused and in state of panic and anxiety. What I absolutely adore about this scenario is that there are sparks; suppressed sparks that both subconsciously acknowledge but let go because of their fears; there is awakening and realization but pushed away immediately. This scene is one of the most important till the last episode because believe it or not, there meeting, wether a coincidence or not had plugged there hearts. There is so much going on in this two minute instance that its just completely unexplainable with the correct choice of words!

One of the other things that ad the most repeated and explained instance is the pearl breaking. Arnav today has ripped Khushi off her dignity and pride. The accusations hurled at her from this moment onwards are because of none other than Arnav and because of his one act; until Arnav himself proves wrong about the accusation, redeems himself (we could only fantasize there) and pulls Khushi under a protective shelter binding her back in purity that the stigmatized door that opened today would be closed.

Few other things to put in regard is the fierce protectiveness of both, Arnav and Khushi. The importance of family and the role they play in both their lives also introduces itself.

I would've explained more but we had company over and Ramadan are starting from tomorrow and also, I'm going on a 11-day trip with first four at Yale University and the rest at Mock Trial Camp. I would like to thank my dear friend Ruby, here to reserve the spot for me so I could share out my thoughts. I'll keep on with the writing until the end of summer specifically even with tsunami hitting the coast!

BTW - I (including my mum and sis) was not able to sit through the english dubbed first episode of IPKKND yesterday. Gosh the delivery of the women characters esp Buaji were so high pitched that I felt a headache coming and it all kind of seemed lost in translation. Instead I ended up watching the first epi in original version on my laptop courtesy DC01 thread - thanks!! I guess when you can have the real thing why go for second best😉
