What an episode!!!!! correct balance and amazing performances...what stands out: The parallelism in the life of the two Khan brothers...
Asad - For him. there has not been a welcome evening at the forum...đ...Tannu has arrived with her 'Jammy, Jammy' rant...all over again...his relaxed conversation with her after what happened has not gone down well with everyone...and everybody's opinion is respected...
What I saw. She came uninvited...he was uncomfortable..she said she wants forgiveness...as she was a part of the mistake too...(hell yes, u bitch..sorry could not help the abuse)...and Asad let it out to her that he met Zoya...why her we may ask? Because she was there at that time...no other reason...the biggest positive that came out of that conversation? Now Asad will believe even if Zoya says that the Earth is square and the sun revolves around it...he knows she came looking for him and she wanted to say something...when she does say that something, he will fall for it hook, line and sinker!
Asad Ahmed Khan is a complex persona...he is selfish, low on self esteem and way too prejudiced for his own good...his decisions change as per his convenience...if he cannot take the pain he will transfer some of it to the other person...even when he confides in tanveer, his mind somewhere is seeking a forgive and forget attitude from his best friend...he is elated that Zoya changed her mind, wanted to say something to him..all of a sudden, the man who said that he will take responsibility is not there anymore..he now wants Zoya!!! Bas!...does that make him a bad human being? No...it only makes him human and subject to faults...his love is his greatest undoing...it has blown up into smithereens, every single righteous fibre is his body...his mind thinks only one thing now...Zoya! His heart beats only one rhythm..Zoya!! Get to her...no qualms as to how many lives are at stake...! We may have been the ones on the right path..but when it comes to Zoya...the world can take a hike...he is not the ideal man, who selflessly lays down on the wire and let the other person crawl over him...nah!! He is ready to forego a mistake of one night, ready to forfeit his friend, if Zoya forgives it...!! Simply put...Asad is that man who can never forgive himself on his own..usey apne aapko maaf karne ke liye bhi ab Zoya ki zaroorat hai...one line I remember from one of my favourite songs to aptly describe him today:

Pretty new for him; to be caring about a person who is not immediate family? I ask...love or a desperate attempt at redemption? When does the love for someone weigh down the guilt of the hurt you caused them...That, of course, remains to be seen...as of now...Humeira has locked her being in the recesses of her mind...her reality is too painful for her to bear...Ayaan will walk the extra mile to get her back that is for sure..but once normal, does the motivation to keep her happy stay forever...her happiness will be his redemption but will a day come when her happiness becomes his life?
Ayaan has started his journey with a small step towards becoming a selfless person...and we can only hope that he discovers the love that helps him become one...the lines that describe him today:
