I'm disappointed with how Papa Shekawat came to accept dancing, I always thought it would be because of Swayam who proves to him that dancing is an acceptable career choice rather than other characters. I don't see the logic either, Sharon made him change and Rey only proved that he loves Taani enough to lie to him. It was a senseless scene with no logic.

Couldn't put it better. Well we have watched a fair share of senseless and illogical scene and made joke out of it. But this one tops it all.

completely agree with u...

the lie only proves that Rey loves Taani so much and he can even hide his identity... if it was used in this context then it would have made complete sense but how it dint at all made sense how this lie was contributed in changing the perceptive of Dance...

Exactly. We are not asking to go on a stage and announce it. A simple sweet gesture would have been more than enough.

U know the creatives of late get great pleasure out of trolling us Swaron fans esp...i wuldnt b surprised if there is a scene between Papa and Sharon today, after the act, where he at least acknowledges her presence in his son's life...ya at least ek gesture like you said...nahi toh this will look really lame

Hope so. Lekin seriously agar there is no Papa - Sharon scene in coming two episodes then this is gonna be one of the lamest ending to a D3 track. And God knows we have seen lot of such lame ending in two years.

No, it's because he called Rey "bete jaise" when he didn't know he was a dancer & then realizes that he IS a dancer and that shows him that it was some stupid idea he came up with - that doesn't have any reasoning.
Plus it was sort of messed up because he thanked Sharon afterwards... Also, there was that scene where Sharon and Rey both support Swayam and Papa Shekawat reflects on how outsiders defended Swayam that way & how it might have been his on fault for not giving Swayam a chance to understand him.

Overall, the scene was just done badly but the logic was there - at least in my opinion.

They should have shown Papa accepting his sons career choice in a different manner.
When you're watching D3 just forget logic 😆
