What a silly movie. I heard it got critical acclaim. Are you serious? Please tell me it didn't. I saw it (ambikapathy actually) and it took great effort to sit through the movie.
If the BW critics think Danush in Ranjhanaa was good, boy they have low standards. Danush was a gem in Adukalam. After that this was like him taking a large step backwards in terms of acting. If any of you here have watched Rajinikanth's earlier works (or you can just take my word for it😆) Danush poorly tried to recreate that sassy acting style in Ranjhanaa.
How many of you genuinely liked Ranjhanaa? I think people just went with the flow and started mimicking that Danush's performance was praise worthy. No one I've asked till now has liked this movie and they're all fans of Danush.
And those of you who did feel Danush fell short, he has much better to offer.
