I love him.. I do.. everytime.. he comes.. i watch his performances mesmerized...

But my confusion is...

His steps.. aren't they exactly the same..setting changes but the steps are exactly the same.. there is no newness but for the song and concept..

new concept and new song everyone is doing..

There are a few performances.. that are nice but i am not so memerized each time.. off and on but not all the time.. akshay ..I am all the time.. but then when I compare him to MJ5 or loyola group or D-Maniacs...I wonder.. where is his edge?

yeah sometimes and I even vikas sawant highly overrated...

If you go by the concept of this show, there isn't a substantial growth in the performances. All are supposed kings in their dance forms, so practically they aren't versatile nor do any of them try different dance forms. D-Maniax are known for their slow motion, MJ5 attempt the same steps, the moon walk on the floor, the same could be said for Akshay!

It's default, the show's concept is that way, so yeah I disagree, he isn't over rated!

The difference is..

MJ5 is innovating within what they do.. DM are innovating within what they do.. The girl who went out last week.. was doing diff stuff.. bharatnatyam, manipuri.. jazz kids also have plethora of steps to mix and match..loyola group also brings variety..

With akshay.. its the exact 4-5 set of steps..nthg else..

And i agree with the person above..vikas sawant is quite weak.. akshay and amardeep are in exact same boat..

he he.. actually today after ranbir kapoor's tribute.. i absolutely loved his performance.. and he tried something else.. outside of this 3-4 steps.. plus the man has the attitude to carry off such dances.. the expressions are mind blowing.. he comes across as a complete charmer.. 😃.. nice!
