Were all the gimmicks necessary by wildcards?

I don't understand why there have to be these gimmicks, like fire, or lifting up in the air, or bikes...and not DANCE.

I personally wanted to see pure dance. I think these extra things in order to try and make the performances look "cool" are a waste of time and don't do the contestants any favour.

Like today Sana and Mukti's dances were purely dance and were a joy to watch. Karan's performance also had a lot of dance.

Then Vatsal's performance had a lot of gimmicks, the bike, going up on the pole. Same with Rochelle as I didn't see the point of hanging up on that wheel. I actually thought Rochelle was an all right dancer and could have been selected if her choreographer showed her dance more.

Please tell me it's not just me who gets annoyed by these things. I feel like I'm watching a circus when such things happen rather than a DANCE show/competition.

Lol. I also could not understand what was the concept of vatsal and Rohit's performances. They were quite useless which resulted in not-selection of them, though i loved rochel's performance and found her quite gorgeous. I wish she would replace Drashti.

Yeah I also didn't get the concept of Rohit's performance. I'm not sure what the "theme" was...but like those fire thingys they waved at the beginning of their performance, I didn't see the point or purpose or meaning of it.
