I dont blame Amita, I support her

I saw a few comments saying poor Amit and Amita is being so rude and heartless. I did feel bad for Amit too but lets just step back and consider the past, shall we?
Right from the time of them meeting each other for the first time, Amit has never said he likes Amita. A few instances: 1.treating her rudely because she is not "pretty enough for him", asking her to lose weight cos "Mother knows best" and not because of any concern. His mother too used to rub this in frequently that Amita is not a preferred first choice of them
2.openly ogling his ex (or whoever that was, the gal who rejected him and for whom he had yelled at Amita before during Sanjay-Preetui's engagement) during his sangeet dance with Amita, and yet, misunderstanding her cos of a conversation he overheard midway between her and the other guy (forgot his name)
3.night before and after wedding when he said he got married for the families only and not because of any affection for her and that this marriage is only a compromise to him
4.every time he supported her in front of his family or hers (file incident, pooja jewels incident, honeymoon cancellation sequence, etc.), he made it clear to her that he is doing it only so that people do not think their marriage is a sham
5.his US trip: how many times did she try to request him to reconsider? have we all forgotten?
6.his birthday:this one i am really annoyed with him. she makes a fool of herself doing so much for him and then he tells her she shouldn't ask about where he went. and shouldnt he reflect on what happened that night? she visibly became upset as soon as she came in with the package received. why doesnt this guy think about it?
every time she assumed he had some feelings for her, he made it abundantly clear that he did not and that he was doing everything just to keep up a facade. so, why does he expect her to "read his eyes and understand all" now? he was so frank and rude when he was not in love and he knows ammu has always been a hesitant character who takes time to openly talk. so, why is he not making any effort to save his marriage? if she asked for divorce, dude, cant u initiate a conversation-yell at her or do whatever it takes. but no...he goes and eats icecream
to hell with you, amit shah. high time u make an effort if this marriage matters to u. ammu has tried enough

sahi kaha, is miyaa biwi ke communication problem se jaane kitne serials ka storyline chalta rehta hai. i really wish these too would talk and sort it out...bahut ho gaya

I agree with u and I too support her...I feel amita is an ideal wife who is possessive bout her hubby and cant tolerate another girl in their life. She tried to knw who antra is but wht she got was lies n plain lies. I dont blame her at all rather support her. I wish she once told antra's name infront of amit or atleast to her frnds...

Chandni doing wonderful job portraying Amita...she is too perfect for the role with her natural acting.
