I never got this information before, and I hope Saras in the serial is not a cheater😭

Having a fight with his father is not a valid reason to dump the girl who is waiting for him to arrive with baaraat.

But this is scary, as the serial is more like this at the moment😭

True...
The story begins with Saras visiting Kumud's house who lives with her husband and in-laws.
When he finds out that her hubby, Pramad is a womanizer, he regrets of saying no to Kumud and for spoiling her life...

All are right that Harvard degree does not mean that he can't be depressed, or unaffected by his surroundings. May be the writer of the post is trying to imply that a Harvard grad will not be naive but intelligent enough to understand the politics of relations around him.

Also his loss to Rahil , may be the writer is so much in love with the character that she is rather frustrated that why Saras is not understanding and rushing... Or else he will loose Kumud. Doesn't this happen with us too when our fav character does not see the evil plans of the villain, we tend to get frustrated and try to push them!

yep cant see the link here. sorry.
You can go to the best university but that doesnt imply that you have all the knowledge in the world. Infact, sometimes many are clever study wise but have no general knowledge.
All saras did was obey his father so why would he even think about oh maybe my dad was having an affair with Guman while still with my mother. No child would even dream to think such a thing. its sickly and even if you knew...you would still be in denial...its nothing to do with intelligence but more to do with emotions.
and its not a competition as to who wins Kumud over...its circumstances. Saras is in a bad place right now and cant think straight.
Imagine you finding out that your mother commited suicide cos your father cheated on her. You would die. you wouldnt be able to think abt anything else.
He is intelligent not sly that he can think of all these caniving things. he is human.

What is Kumud's fault..?? Why the hell he played with Kumud's emotions and her love...????

He was not happy iwth the situation and so he took Sanyaas..!! What about Kumud..??

I dont think its to do with simply not thinking about Kumud and cheating her. If you are in a bad state of mind you cant think straight. He feels that he cannot sustain relationships. His mother, depsite being a mother to him loved his dad so much that she couldnt even be strong for her son's sake. He blames himself to a certain extent.
Sometimes you can't think straight and by the time you realise its too late. Just like in anger you say things you dont mean...emotions are a funny thing. They dont always come out right.
He is in a bad state. Its not his fault..its the circumstances.

Good heavens, you guys are very serious these days. The post was meant to be tongue n' cheek with some logic thrown in. All these defenses about why a Harvard grad cannot also have a childhood trauma does not work. It is not about the trauma, but the reaction to it. It is not that he hasn't grown since the trauma or thought about the incident. I know people who have gone through this, mature, educated people just like Saras the character. And the only question they ask is WHY. To anyone minutely educated is expected to find that most obvious answer. In the first few episodes Saras did remember how is mother used to make up stories about the negligent dad. That is what he thought his father was and yet he didn't come up with why that combined with Guman would make the perfect recipe. The writers were aware of this and they waited too long to reintroduce it, that's why it looks so odd for Saras to react this way now.

Well, I need not explain why I predicted he would leave her at the alter if tomorrow's precap is anything to go by. They have been symbolically hinting at this for a while. The only twist would be if he did show up last minute only to be rejected by Kumud this time because he broke her trust.

I said Rahil Azam because we do not know the character's name. If I had to compare his to Gautam, I would have said Gautam. Here I was talking about Saras the character and how Rahil's background is shaping up to be a solid one. If the marriage happens, his is not the kind of family you can take away Kumud from. Marriage to her is a life-time deal, we can say that without knowing the kind of character Rahil is. So that was the reprimand. You lose to this character, it's irreversible. Also, I cannot call him Pramad because that presumes he's a bad character and much more. As the bracelet falling today showed, her relationship with Saras will break and get re-attached later. So what comes in between? This marriage. They have to go along with the book at some point. They have already derailed too much.

Also Saras "did" a lot more without any romance showing up on screen same a few stares and hugs. Sanjay is capable of writing and supervising better romance scenes but as we know he is only licensing his name and the writers these days are rehashing scenes from his movie. The romance is lacking in execution. It doesn't mean they have to be explicit but they have to have better written words.

Being from a classic like this and a man like SLB, I do have high standards for this show. But these days they are operating like any other soap. That is disappointing. There was a time this show was so good I would watch it numerous times a day. If you admit it to yourself, you will also see that THAT kind of material hasn't been delivered in a while.

mary, i agree to most of your points stated above, especially to do with romance, except for initial episodes the romance lately has been disappointing! the execution at flaw big time! i also agree that the teenage giggle of saras was contradictory to his personality..his reaction on knowing the truth according to me was apt..the mental trauma he had gone through had made him insane and all his life he was running away from the backflashes of that horrific scenario! after reading the letter it all surfaced and the slight doubts that he had in his mind were now stamped as true..he always doubted gumaan and was never happy living in that house..but the letter said it all..the picture became clear..he was more hurt because of his father that how could his father betray his mother..the trauma of his mother was still haunting him and now the betrayal of father added to the already traumatized tender mind of saras, the reaction was not overdone, i think it was something that was eating him inside for a long time and now bursted out like a volcano..and not to forget very well enacted by gautam..i did like the way they executed the major twist..loved the last 3 episodes, hope u like the upcoming episodes😊!
